It was already a cold morning but their breakfast food was colder, one bite i knew it was reheated in a microwave. The wrap was cold and not served freshly made, tasted like a few days old from the fridge. The hashbrowns were not cooked till at least golden brown, half cooked and pale. It reminds me of jail food. Mcdonalds and malay begedil treat potatoes better. Not recommended

A bit noisy due to the kids in the gym and Pokémon play consoles nearby . So if you want a peace get good noise cancelling headphones . The place serves good coffee and hot chocolate

Nice drink made by the manager name Nuriati.. Requested for extra peppermint syrup and taste awesome.. And its a great and calm place to chill too.. Bought the mug and my fav character thermos (mickey mouse).

If you want a super quiet place on weekdays, then this place is good. Cos there's literally nobody in the mall. 😆 Some cakes are a bit dry.

ordered a slice of cake and it took more than 15 minutes to arrive. Customer service is also trash. I just walked there to check if the cake was ready because it was taking forever but the staff was being rude to me.

A latte has coffee and milk. For a tea latte, I would expect it to have just tea and milk. BUT no, the English breakfast latte has vanilla powder in it! 2 scoops of it was added to the hot tea before adding it to the milk..... had a strong taste of vanilla in it. Was so bad I ended up throwing more than half the cup away. Wouldn't order this "signature" tea latte ever again.

Worst cafe ever. They’re still in business coz there’s no other cafe around at the moment. Waiting for another good cafe to be opened in Kallang Wave soon. Bad service and always getting coffee order wrong. Country staff say yes, but they serve whatever they want anyway. Multiple times without fail.

Came for breakfast set and order the set that comes with complimentary coffee. Staff PeiShan ask if i wanted regular or large size for coffee. I ask how much to top up to large and she said $4. Then i told her dont need, will stick to complementary coffee. She repeated if i wanted large or regular?? I told her i want the complementary..so to make sure , i ask what is regular, which she explain i still have to top up $4. I show her the menu that said complimentary coffee or tea. She repeated if i want large or regular. This went for abt 4-5 rounds. I finally ask what size is complimentary coffee, which she reluctantly said small. I said ok, then i will have the small complimentary coffee. Looks like either business is bad and they are pushing customers to pay more or she needs to improve her english! She did the similar thing to the next customer and was trying to promote the christmas drink for their breakfast order. Breakfast set quality is canteen standard..huge mistake going there for breakfast.

Pretty empty throughout the day on weekdays, I worked here in the morning for a few days cos I had an appointment nearby for the week. Nice chill ambience, only 1 power plug unfortunately but since it was empty I managed to use it. Food is the usual coffee bean standard. Comfort food but nothing to write home about. I like it though! Overall a pleasant experience.

Perfect place to chill on friday night. Not many people. Service was excellent. Staff was polite and attentive. Yuzu cake was refreshing. Biscoff cake was rich n sweet (i love it!). Coffee bean needs to intro more seasonal drinks that are delish. Drinks selection slightly poor.

We were nearby and after running our chores, we dropped by for a tea break. The weather outside was very warm and what's better than stayin indoors and chill over some icy drinks and cakes? The outlet on the first floor is bright and cosy though with a limited sitting capacity as compared to it's other outlets but we managed to find a table when we arrived. It was Sunday and was quite crowded as it was near lunch time. Instead of ordering our regular iced mocha, we opted with the sparkling peach tea instead. It was nice though a little too sweet but we requested for more iced and upon melting, the drink was perfect and great to have it on such a warm day. We also ordered the cake to be taken away. And the food and drinks were consistently good. Service was quite slow though as we only saw 2 staff manning the entire store operations.

Before you attack any F&B personnel, apply common sense and realize that if a staff member is attempting to promote ongoing promotions, it's because that's what the cashier does; even if the staff member in question isn't the one trying to promote, they still need to push for sales. I know roughly how F&B operates. If the cashier is a good person, it goes without saying that you shouldn't attack them out of frustration. The Kallang Wave crew has been incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Also, staffs would ask me if I would like to upsize because I am sharing a meal with a friend. That seems considerate and observant of the staff, they notice it immediately and conveniently asks if I wanted an upsize. Please don't assume that the cashier is asking to push for sales, maybe they just want to double check with you. Don't be so quick to point out their flaws. They are humans too, not a machine who doesn't have emotions. First time going to Kallang Wave and I'm surprised to even see such a horrible, flawed review by another customer... To all the staffs at Kallang Wave Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, you are amazing and keep up the good work! If the said staff is still working there, please don't be disheartened!

Bad and very slow service. Staff talking and laughing. One taking order but no one was preparing food/drinks. I ordered a muffin and ice latte but it took about 20 minutes to prepare. They were not even preparing until we asked. They didn’t even bother looking at their order display screen. Three staff and not many customer but still very slow. The worst outlet ever. Muffin was moist but not as nicely toasted as other stores.

Places filled with people waiting for their concert to start. Their drinks already finish, or or, they never buy anything AT ALL. Staff also not doing anything at all to help clear the table or, get non-paying people to leave, so that genuine customers can come in.
