I ordered ice latte and the lady gave me hot latte. When i showed the receipt, she damn irritated and put ice into the hot latte. It tastes weird. It was lukewarm latte. I should be the one irritated lol please check on the staff, extremely poor customer service.

Was here on a friday afternoon, around 230pm. Found a seat but was immediately asked to move by a rude staff member. (Staff members were the 2 malay ladies.) I asked why and she said that I had not bought anything when I had just sat down! I explained that I was just about to go order something off the menu but I was rudely asked to leave so other customers could sit. I am a customer too, am I supposed to order the millisecond I sit down? Such unreasonable and rude workers. Will not revisit this place ever again, and will not recommend to anyone else. Every time I have given this place a chance, I am always met with rude workers who are incredibly unreasonable. Food is cold too, does not taste fresh. The hot drink I ordered turned out completely cold. I will not recommend this place to anybody who wants to get their money's worth.

I would like to provide complaint regarding my experience at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Velocity @ Novena, on 21 June 2026 at approximately 8:40 PM. The staff members on duty were IRINA and ELLY. Before ordering, I politely asked what time the outlet would be closing; I’m completely no idea as we rarely go to this mall. The malay staff at the counter, IRINA, appeared visibly unhappy when informing me that the store would be closing at 9:00 PM. While I was waiting for my husband to decide on his order, she repeatedly sighed and appeared impatient, which made us feel unwelcome. After I placed my coffee order, my husband added a cake order. Again, Irina appeared displeased that we were placing additional orders close to closing time. When our order was being served, I politely requested an extra fork for the cake. Her reaction suggested annoyance and frustration over a simple request. What was most disappointing was that she appeared to be making comments to her colleague, Elly while looking in our direction and making faces, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer. Although I chose not to confront her at the time, the experience left a very negative impression. My family and I were having an enjoyable evening together, but the service we received significantly affected our experience. I understand that staff may be tired near closing time, but customers who arrive during operating hours should still be treated with courtesy and professionalism. I hope management will look into this matter and provide appropriate coaching to ensure that all customers receive respectful service regardless of the time of their visit.

Dear The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Customer Service Team, I am writing to lodge a serious complaint regarding a recent purchase from your store. On that day, I asked a friend to help me purchase the Hello Kitty limited edition cup set from your outlet. We were informed by your staff that it was the last set available. However, the staff did not assist in checking the condition of the items before completing the sale. When I returned home and inspected the set, I was extremely disappointed to discover that out of the four cups, two were defective. What concerns me further is that when I raised this issue, your staff did not provide a satisfactory solution. The way this situation was handled has caused me significant dissatisfaction and discomfort. I request that you arrange an immediate replacement with a new, defect-free set. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate this complaint further. I hope to hear from you soon with a proper resolution.
