My hubby bought a coffee $8.80. But when he took the credit card slip he realised he was charged an additional 20cents. He thought the lady charged wrongly but when he referred to invoice he saw he was charged tips of 20cents. He did not mind giving tips. However it is questioning how many customers did they do that to? Charging tips without informing customers. As most of the customers just tap the credit card without looking at charged amount. Is it normal now for coffee bean to round up the amount as tips now? Feels weird.

Staff at Rail Mall was very rude and unfriendly at 6am with zero customer. Bought 10 slices of cake total $80. Made me Top up ecard twice. $80x2. She claimed amount did not go through for 1st transaction then blamed it on “system crushed” after she refreshed my account eventually. Offer no service recovery nor apology. But could smile sheepishly to her staff to ask him to pack my (5 different cakes X 2slices) into one big box which I insisted. They didn’t know how apparently, so I demanded to pack on my own.

Tried the new Breakfast Set — Japanese Bagel & Truffle Cream Cheese with Scrambled Eggs, Side Salad, mini Orange Juice, and a cup of Café Latte. We had 2 sets for just $12.50, which was really great value for money. The bagel was nicely toasted and paired well with the creamy truffle cheese, while the scrambled eggs and Café Latte made it a satisfying meal to start the day. A nice affordable meatless breakfast option for a casual morning out.

Love the site and layout. The Lychee cake is so pretty...except that it is made mainly of mousse, with very thin actual cake layers.
