The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf - Suntec City We visited The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Suntec City last Saturday, 18 July 2026, around 5pm. Yes, it was crowded — it’s a weekend in Suntec after all — but we still had such a lovely time. First, the vibe. The outlet is bright, clean, and modern with lots of warm lighting and greenery. I loved the wooden shelves with the pastel tumblers and merchandise near the seating area. It felt cozy but still spacious enough for groups. There were people working on laptops, families catching up, and friends taking photos — a real community feel. We went for their *"Game Time Combos"* promotion that was on display outside. We got 2 pizzas + 2 Dry Iced Americanos for $28.00. Such good value compared to the U.P of up to $39! We chose Chicken Pepperoni and Margherita for the pizzas, and they came out thin crust, hot, and cheesy. Paired with the Dry Iced Salted Caramel Americano, it was the perfect afternoon tea treat. The cakes in the display also looked amazing — the Chicago Cheesecake and "Chocolate of a Thousand Leaves" had us tempted for next time. But what really made our visit was the *customer service*. Despite being packed, the staff were so patient, smiling, and efficient at the counter. They helped us find a table, checked in on us, and kept the area tidy even during the rush. That’s not easy on a busy Saturday, and it made all the difference. We sat down, chatted, and just enjoyed our "me time" together. It was crowded, but never felt rushed or stressful because of how welcoming the team was. Overall, if you’re at Suntec and want good coffee, good food, and genuinely warm service, this CBTL is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back to try the cake combo next!

The food and service are good, but you won't believe the environment at this Coffee Bean in Suntec – there are mosquitoes! I got badly bitten 3 times there!!! #suntec

Staff were dismally unhelpful when asked about non dairy options. Went to get the 1 for 1 matcha lavender Earl Grey latte special, and asked if we could swap the milk for a dairy-free option (they have oat and soy milk on the menu). Staff insisted there was no dairy in it (but latte means milk??). The drinks came out, evidently milky. Asked staff again, and they again claimed there was no dairy in it. We checked, and the vanilla powder they use in it is dairy based. Went back again to point this out to staff, and they said they could redo it without the dairy vanilla powder, but with soy milk (they had initially said they could put dairy milk in it??) It came out essentially just bland soy milk with jelly cubes. No matcha, no lavender, not even earl grey flavour. This was a complete fail. Staff clearly don't know what dairy-free means, which is BAD for customers. There are dairy-free drinks on the menu, including dairy-free matcha lattes. The replacement drink wasn't even vaguely an attempt at matching the drink we paid for. Coffee Bean needs to do better.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is going downhill with all the intense competition from the China coffee chains. The prices are way too expensive and the drinks are much less innovative. As a CBTL loyal customer, I hope you will be able to survive in the years to come.

My wife and I were here today (14 DECEMBER 2025) for some coffee and a dessert. We were encouraged by the counter staff to indulge in TCBTL's Christmas promotions and so, we ordered the following here: an Iced Single Origin Latte Regular, a Peppermint Dark Chocolate Small with Cream through its Holiday Set Mug promotion, and a Mini Raspberry Dark Chocolate Logcake. Firstly, the Logcake was very good - very chocolatey and moist. The Coffees were very good - I especially enjoyed the Peppermint Dark Chocolate although it initially came without my earlier asked for Cream. And I do like the durable Holiday Everyday Mug. Service here was in general, good - the male ordering counter staff member was very friendly and courteous; the female staff member at the collection counter could have been friendlier. The dining ambience here was very nice - the tables were set wide apart with comfortable seating and the dining ambience here was very good.
