The staff are quite responsive at the counter. But they have overlook to clean the seating table. So the tables are dirty. Tried the new pistachio cheese cake and the peppermint dark chocolate. There were rich and not really sweet.

Usually I don’t give feedback, but when I do, it is good feedback. However, when I visited The Coffee Bean at Bugis Junction today, the male staff who is standing at the cashier area behaviour is at another level. When I was looking for a table to seat, my first impression of him is unwelcoming. When I was speaking to place my order, he is swinging his head left and right so I have to stop. He is unfriendly and super rude. Best part, he just continued to treat me as invisible and even chit chat in Malay with a lady wearing black uniform. Thinking should I try again to place my order, but since he is so rude, I am afraid the drink made by him is going to taste terrible. However, when another lady is lining up behind me, he guides her to another cashier counter and takes her order. So basically, either I am invisible so he can’t see me or he chooses the customer he wants to serve. So if Coffee Bean is doing business in this way, then I will let The Divine be The Judge.

The current bagel and scrambled eggs breakfast set promo is value for money. I was there on a weekday morning and could enjoy the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Personally, better coffees and scrambled eggs exist, but at this price - get 2 sets which works out to $5.95 each - it's unbeatable. The pleasant counter staff switched our drinks to a latte and a tea as requested, no extra charge.

I went to this outlet on 17th Aug and the girl who made my ice blended drinks, it tasted so good! It is hard to get good ones nowadays and with the right amount of choc and coffee together. It even tasted nice hours later, while others might taste diluted already (some is already diluted even before). Kudos to the barista and keep it up!
