Horrible customer service. I understand that during peak periods, customers may be asked to leave after the 60-minute dining limit. However, this was not the case at all. There were plenty of empty tables and not many customers, yet the staff still came to “chase” people out. It just doesn’t make sense. If it were during a busy period with customers waiting for seats, I would completely understand. On top of that, the staff at the service counter were extremely rude and unprofessional. When I politely placed my order, they seemed unwilling to serve me and gave the impression that I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A little courtesy and basic customer service would have gone a long way. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I hope the management looks into both the unnecessary enforcement of the dining time during non-peak hours and the poor attitude of the staff.

Order: Japanese bagel truffle cream cheese, Scrambled egg breakfast set I visited Coffee Bean early in the morning on 13 May 2026 for the breakfast set, and while the food itself was still consistently tasty, the overall service experience left me quite disappointed. One issue happened when I asked about the tea selections available as a replacement for the café latte included in the set. Instead of verbally explaining the options, the staff member simply pointed casually towards the tea tins on display. As someone with weaker eyesight, this was inconvenient and felt inconsiderate. The tea names were neither spoken aloud nor placed within my clear line of sight, which made the interaction unnecessarily frustrating. The service also felt rather inattentive overall. It is not good if staff member and I, as a customer, both are absent-minded about the side option. Ideally as staff member, familiarity with the menu should have been second nature yet clearly its not when orange juice was omitted in my order. After preparing the drinks, the staff member took a break to eat breakfast, which did not sit well with me. Because upon reflecting on the incident, I felt that instead of settling down for his meal immediately, he could have taken a moment to regain his focus and realise that the orange juice included in the set was not served and given in my takeaway package. Unfortunately, the meal preparation itself was also disappointing. The bread was placed directly on top of the moist eggs, resulting in soggy toast by the time it was served. It affected the texture and enjoyment of what could otherwise have been a pleasant breakfast. So i had it retoasted at home again🫠 That said, the saving grace was that the food still tasted good and maintained the flavour consistence expected from Coffee Bean. I hope the outlet can improve on service attentiveness and presentation, as these details greatly affect the overall dining experience.

Came on 13 May 2026. I ordered the breakfast set for 2. Served by a bald guy who was not friendly at all. He was being sarcastic from the way he told me about the price of the breakfast set. Anyway, I didnt ask for the price bro! Less than 10mins, I collected at the counter and none out of 3 servers at the counter smile nor greet with a thanks. Anyway, it's a 1 time of visit to your branch. No wonder its not as pack as Starbucks;) Oops, I am a regular Starbucks customer at WestMall by the way:)

The only differentiation for me between Starbucks and Coffeebean is it's Tea Latte since Coffeebean is supposingly a Passion for Coffee AND tea. But sadly this is outlet either using old expired tea leaves or the barista is not well trained. Tea latte came out as colored hot milk with foam and NO taste. Sent it back and the second time was the same. It's a shame. Back to Starbucks!
