Newly opened Mr Bean in Thomson Plaza, replaced Twelve Cupcakes. First day of operations on 01 Jan 2023. Only one person manning the kiosk on 02 Jan 2023 which was public holiday off in lieu. Service was great, cashier was helpful and friendly. Bought a grass jelly soya milk and kaya cheese pancake (set 05) for sgd4.5, payment by cash only. This outlet doesn't have ice cream unfortunately due to space constraints. Kaya cheese pancake that I had was filled with adequate filling. Grass jelly soya milk with 25% sugar was not very sweet, think 50% sugar will be better. Will patronize this outlet again due to good service.

I was there this morning to buy pancakes and drink. I gave the crew $50.40. I was told off that they not accepting big notes in the morning. I told him I didn’t know and I just withdraw my money from atm. He keep telling me not accepting big notes in the morning. What kind of attitude is that? I am also working in the same industry. He didn’t even suggest any other mode of payment so I just walked away without buying anything.

I have to wonder what is going on with this kiosk. First time I went to buy grass jelly drink at around noon, it was not made yet so I waited and got a half warm drink but give chance they just opened and were very nice about it. Today I went at 2:30 pm and asked for a grass jelly drink and I was told there is just the drink - no grass jelly inside!!!! I will give one last chance next week only because I love Mr. Bean grass jelly.

Went the first time beancurd not ready at 11.30am So i left,few days later 2nd time visit the shop about 12pm no egg so egg related item not available!?!! Take note porridge is not available in this branch 3rd visit on 15/2 6.30pm,beancurd not ready need another 15 mins Not going to waste my time to visit again! Mr Bean Management please assist your employee on this issue Customer will not be visiting if this continue

Horrible service. Was told by the service staff “can’t you see i m busy” when there is no queue in front of me. Rude max. Cannot talk nicely.

Used to love this place and their selection of drinks…now, it’s just underwhelming. Not a word of thanks - super robotic and disinterested service. Sorry not sorry, never again would I patronise this place.
