I was extremely disappointed by the rude service from a female Malay staff member at Old Chang Kee Sun Plaza at around 7:40 PM tonight. When it was my turn to order, I clearly and loudly told her I wanted crab nuggets. However, she pretended she could not hear me and kept repeating my order question. I felt annoyed and told her I needed a little time to think about my full order, then turned around to ask the single customer behind me if they wanted to go ahead first. When I turned back, she had already put the crab nuggets into a bag without my confirmation. I said I would take the crab nuggets since she had packed them already, and added an extra chicken nugget to my order right after. Sadly, she completely ignored my request for the chicken nugget and took it out of the bag immediately. Frustrated by her unprofessional attitude, I told her I no longer wanted anything and cancelled my order. I have visited this outlet many times before, and this is the first time I have encountered such poor customer service. I sincerely ask the management to arrange formal service training for your staff to ensure basic respect for all paying customers

Poor service at the Sun Plaza outlet around 2pm on 08/02/2026. I ordered two curry puffs. They were placed on the counter in separate paper wrapping bags, not in a plastic bag. When I politely asked if a plastic bag was available, the older Chinese Singaporean male staff serving me repeatedly said “hold on” about five times while staring at me. The tone was condescending and rude, and it was very obvious he did not like being asked. His ego was bruised that a customer asked for a freaking plastic bag. There was no queue and I was the only customer at the time. This behaviour was unprofessional, rude and passive aggressive.

Would have given negative score if not for the fact that Google forces reviewers to give at least 1 star. Queued for long time only to realise paywave is not available and the paynow QR code doesnt work. If your systems dont even accept payment, then please close down for the day. Total lack of customer service and quality of service and food deteriorating. Recommend to just try their competitors for better offerings.
