I visited the outlet on Monday, 10 Aug 2026, at around 11:50 am. It was a quiet morning with only three tables occupied. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. While I was waiting in line, two staff members seemed oblivious to my presence. When I inquired about the vegetarian curry potato, they informed me that it was unavailable. I then spotted a curry potato spring roll and asked if it was vegetarian-friendly. One server expressed uncertainty, stating that the company hadn't provided them with that information. I ended up having to Google it myself to find out. The lack of service was disappointing.

On Wednesday 20 May 2026, I had the nasi lemak with dry curry chicken and red bean mochi puff for my lunch from the Old Chang Kee outlet at Telok Blangah Community Club, and they both tasted very delicious. Overall, the service provided to me was very good and I would love to try these other Old Chang Kee dishes such as nasi lemak with otah, dry mee siam and laksa from the other Old Chang Kee outlets in the future.

Not that i wanna complain, but is really sucks for the high price. No standard. The Curry chicken rice the meat so hard, potatos so hard and raw tasting also, like just put in.. totally not nice.

Location is great but staff is always very sloppy... Just recently ordered and was the only customer, but still took wrong order and didn't prepare until we asked if ready. Not first time already. Sigh...
