My favourite place to have my brunch. Varieties of food is great and the price is so economical and with Aircon too. A set of beehoon with two fried dumpling(guotie) and a big chicken wings is only S$4.90 and there are other great deals too. A cup of kopi-C only costs S$1.30, even cheaper than some of the coffeeshops. Great place to dine in and is mostly quiet.

Guess I’m giving the first 1 star for this place. 1. Measly portion: My friend and I both takeaway the same thing. Funny enough, hers got potato. 2: taste is not good. Guess that’s bc they don’t use coconut milk as written on their container. 3. Rice was mushy. 4. I asked for teh c but gave me kopi c instead.

I guess you have to double check the amount paid here. As one of the Chinese lady staff will kind of add the set combo on her own assumption and end up paying more money. I ordered kopi with curry puff tea set ($3) plus 1 ice teh and chicken wing. Originally price should be $7.60. But she add my ice teh on the tea set and end up I’m paying $8.10 instead. Went up to clarify but she doesn’t seem to want to admit her Mistake and make amend it but just keep telling me already cash out 💆🏻♂️ Just my luck and will make sure to double check before paying again next time.

Nice place. Ample seats. Looks clean because the shop is still new. Service is a little slow and most staff are not friendly. Most foods taste good 👍 The twisted fries from kids meal is so good. But they changed it like cut fries which is so thick that too much potato can be tasted. Their dry chicken curry is good. Only this big breakfast tastes so weird. The sausage doesnt taste good the bean is too sour. Not sure if what they served was spoiled but maybe just not a fan of beans. But Overall ok.

First time here to try on this OCK, ordered total three meals including nasi lemak, an unfriendly Muslim cashier on duty today shouted at me “ We got so many nasi lemak what u want ?” I ask her where to see choices of nasi lemak she choose to ignore my question and repeat the same sentence but the another staff beside her say nicely we have curry, chicken wing ,otah, which one you prefer . Upon payment she missed out one of my order even the order had been prepared and I told her I have three items , she repeated my two items only. After telling her another one is set B she choose to shout at me again say only Set A,and nasi lemak :) what a bad servive .

Ordered curry chicken rice and found no potatoes in the serving, only chicken. Asked the auntie if potatoes are no longer included as shown in the illustration, she was nice enough to explain to me that they ran out of those and found 2 pieces to add for me.

Food quality dropped. Ordered laksa a few times already but always look like chill oil noodle! Inconsistency food quality. Staff always looking gloomy and unhappy.. when it' was first opened, the food and service were fine...

Staff making fun of kid who were fussing. Haha.. what kind of service attitude is this. Made the father so uncomfortable he quickly finished up his food and left.

Discovered this old Chang kee restaurant style by chance while visiting telok Blangah CC. Charmed by the nostalgic ambiance, especially the void deck's table and chairs. Tried the curry chicken, taste good and generous portion. The only downside was one of the staff members with tundung being impatient and snappy which seemed to be the trend across most old Chang kee stalls.

Anyway,I nvr like Old Chang Kee products at all c frying oil nvr changes n will only buy when frying oil is change.Moreover staffs of Old Chang Kee is vvv rude especially d supervisors tt loves to gossip behind supporting customers as staffs n supervisors only b nice to well dressed elegant customers which is wrong c all customers needs to b respected regardless of one's looks.Also prices differs from various outlets n is totally not fair.Shd b like Toast Box ,Fun Toast etc.Anyway c of my friends seeking me to help them to buy promotionals for them if not I will nvr patronise Old Chang Kee at all.Last but not least
