Much love for the sweetest Malay Auntie manning the store, who call all her customers sayang. The food, sotong balls and prawn nuggets, were also hot and fresh.

It had been quite a while since my last visit, so I decided to stop by on a Sunday at around 4pm. There was a long queue, which I completely understood since it was peak hour. I also noticed one of the staff members was busy preparing Grab orders, so I expected things to be a little hectic. While waiting, I noticed that the shop looked quite messy, especially around the food preparation area. I don’t usually mind a little mess during busy periods, but this time it was more noticeable than expected. By the time it was my turn, there wasn’t much variety left, which I could understand given how busy it was. However, what stood out to me was that many of the food items on display looked quite overcooked. I ended up getting the chicken wings and gyoza, and unfortunately both tasted overcooked, with the gyoza tasting noticeably burnt. I also noticed that while there was a queue of customers waiting, two staff members were chatting at times. They may have been discussing work, so I don’t want to make assumptions, but it did stand out considering how busy the shop was. I still went ahead with my purchase since I’d already queued and was just looking for a quick snack. Overall, this visit was quite disappointing compared to my previous experiences. I understand that weekends can get very busy, but I hope the team can pay a little more attention to the food quality and overall upkeep of the shop, as I know the food is usually much better than what I experienced that day.

Giving 1 star due to the rude service from the malay aunty. Ordered grabfood pickup in the morning, upon arrived at the stall the malay aunty just ignore despite I greeted. Fine. I saw my order ready but still said our my number just to make the staff aware. The malay aunty just say "take", despite seeing me having difficulty to take my food because it was placed further in the food counter. Anyway, thanks to the Chinese aunty who helped me in the end.

I needed to buy 25 curry Os for a work event and the Malay lady assisting me was so wonderful! Not only did she pack quickly, she made me a cupboard holder to hold my curry puffs that were in a tray. I really appreciate the gesture!
