I really wanted to give this place a higher rating, but unfortunately the food experience held me back. It’s not so much about the taste itself — after all, how wrong can Old Chang Kee go? It’s a brand many of us love. This outlet also serves breakfast and has a seating area, similar to the one at Changi Airport Terminal 3, where you can enjoy items like bee hoon and porridge in the morning. The issue I encountered was with the serving temperature. The porridge was only lukewarm, and the bee hoon was quite cold. Porridge, especially, should be served piping hot, so this was rather disappointing. I hope they can review and improve on this aspect. That said, the overall ambience is pleasant and the staff are friendly, which made the visit otherwise enjoyable.

Didn't know Old Chang Kee has cafes. Definitely a good place for coffee break, as they have a variety of food apart from curry puffs. There was a promo going on at the time of writing and it was prata with drink for SGD3.20, but I was too full at that time, so had to pass! There was a waffle set too! Maybe next time.

Very awkward experience. The kid wants to try local food and thus we enter the store. The Chinese waitress is so unfriendly, never smile, say no to most of the orders. Feels the mgmt just want to burn money here by hiring these ppl and ruin its brand image. Ultimately, the food is just like the food court nearby but with doubled price. Better to close the store and open some other interesting ones.

We had lunch, the food is good, the price is also fair. However, there are only fans indoor. The air conditioning is not turned on during the day. We felt hot inside when the temperature outside is over 30 degree Celsius.

Casual eating place with lots of variety of local cuisine and snacks. Air con was weak and it was really warm. Place has seats for a weekend lunch though it is likely to be very crowded on weekdays. The mee Siam and curry chicken noodle was great.
