Hits and miss. My all time favourite is the fried squid head. Their popular curry puff was quite generous with filling and crust is crispy but not too thick. Taste waste is just average. Spring roll feels below average.

Good place for an affordable and quick breakfast fix. Not the best nasi lemak in town (not even close), but it’s still good, satisfying and generous. Plus the staff is genuinely friendly unlike some of the more expensive spots out there. Just one question though: just what kind of gargantuous chickens are they using in order to have chicken wings that big!

I had the fish and chips. Surprisingly, best fish/chips in Singapore for this price range $8.90. Not the kind that you buy from supermarket and deep fry yourself. Fish was soft and creamy. The cafe had only 2 patrons so service was fast. But no ketchup. I like fish/chips with ketchup/vinegar but they only had vinegar. Self service is the best kind of service. Order via QR code. Beeper and self collect.

Nasi Lemak Chicken-O without the rice, it’s legit delicious, it’s filled with shredded fried chicken, ikan bilis, peanut and egg, drenched in a sweet and savoury sambal chili (mild spicy). It’s only 2 for $4 only, must try.

22/8: went there for a late lunch to avoid crowd. Not many seatings inside. Food standard exceeded my expectation as it was my first time dining at Old Chang Kee. Ordered the curry buns with chicken rice balls add on. The bun was warm n firm! Unlike those cheap neighbourhood buns loads baking soda to look pong n big dry n lotsa air pockets. Curry is thick n fragrant but mild spicy. Chicken rice n blue pea nasi lemak 👍🏻 Kopi not nice though Curry pau soso Will comeback to try other items in the menu

This is one of the worst place I have been to. Food was salty as if salt was free and abundant. Service was simply just bad. When I could not find a metal fork at the service counter but can find a metal spoon, the lady told me ‘You cannot use the plastic one, is it?’. Atmosphere is very quiet as it was quite empty then.

It was so stuffy the minute we walked in although the air cond was on. Either it has not been serviced or it has malfunction. Anyway, we decided to continue dining in. Food was not very good. My nasi lemak was quite mushy and no coconut fragrance to it. We’re also being told that they are about to close at 7something when we’re still happily catching up, thinking they only end the service at 9pm

Must try: flower bread curry chicken. Generous portion for 2-3 sharing, they gave extra curry gravy with potatoes. There was a limited time promo of Oppa Korean style chicken when we went - sweet soy sauce with crunchy fried chicken, nice! Clean and air conditioned. Nicely decorated too.

I liked the Oppa Rice Bowl. Glazed with Korean sweet and salty sauce over 2 chicken drumlets and 1 wing is juicy on the inside and nicely light crisp deep fried. The Flower chicken curry, love the chewy bread texture drench with the tasty no coconut milk curry chicken is 👍

The waiter's attitude and service were poor. As soon as the customer entered, they loudly scolded and asked a question, ignoring them. If they bought something cheap, they would give you a face.First feel terrible experience.Staff receive customer same attitude.

Went for breakfast, there're dim sum, fried bee hoon, toast and more. The set came with choice of (iced/hot) kopi/teh (c/o). 🍽 fried bee hoon set w/ chicken nuggets (3 pcs) & teh c. ($4.50) Food are served fast, you will have to collect the food yourself. Very spacious and nice design. Would visit again for breakfast.
