[Nasi Lemak and Curry chicken with rice]. Went here and visited this Old Chang Kee branch that's located in Bird Paradise. Firstly, Nasi Lemak is so colorful. Chicken wing is nice and the sides that's added. Curry chicken has a spicy taste but not too much. Eaten at a location that has a nice dining place. For drink, gotten an Ice Coffee. Pricing still reasonable.

A new clean modern Old Chang Kee in the shape of a coffee house. It has the vibes but can do with better healthier food options. Even their “healthy”dishes have deep fried food, how is that for the new old Chang Kee ? Otherwise it has fantastic views like the photo below! Worth your visit to hide from the sun…

Tried their breakfast before entering Bird Paradise. Nice interior design, old school style but instagramable. Foods are okay. Braised bee hoon is good, balanced taste with the nostalgic flavour. Dry mee siam is a little too hard (bee hoon texture) and the flavour is a little lacking for my personal liking. Can be more sour and spicier. Coffee is average. Looking forward to try other new ones to try next time on their menu.

Prices are slightly higher compared to other locations. Can settle your lunch here with their regular blue pea nasi lemak. Had the chicken wing and chicken pops as snack halfway through the day at bird paradise.

Old Chang Kee, Bird Paradise: Love it when local innovates. Popular takeaway stand Old Chang Kee turns into American bistro with bright pops of yellow and pastels. This is a hit with kids with animal themed dishes such as the Nemo laksa, kids menu and Singa puffs. Expensive, but decent. The portion left much to be desired. The kids meal was $8; for a portion this small it should be $5.

Food was pretty ok, but the curry with bread was sold out when we arrived for dinner. 🥹 recommend trying the Nasi Lemak, Satay & Dry Laksa 👌🏻

Ordering was fast but service was slow. Reason was there was a new guy and things were abit slower. Lemon fish was bad. Fish was like defrozed and battered and lack of flavor. Korean fried chicken rice was worse. Flavor was lacking and the chicken was not even crispy. Much cheaper and better to just order the original fried chicken. Nasi lemak was average. Fried chicken skin was alright.

The enviorment is ok, but there is children crying when I went there. The food is lower tham average as the laksa for example is overly salty, the curry is on the spicer end. The chicken wings are average tho. The teh(milk tea ) and kopi( coffee) taste average. If you are coming to bird paradise, I recommend you to eat somewhere else.

Beautiful scenery. Nice place to eat and have a chit chat. Reasonable pricing. Lots of the regular Old Chang Kee stuff too.

It's the busiest outlet for breakfast I reckoned. Always came here for breakfast. Limited choices but it's good enough to start the day to visit the bird paradise or other part of Mandai zoo. Crews here are trying their best to manage the outlet, just hope the management will give one more headcount during weekends. They do not have enough time to take order and clean the tables. Kudos to the male cashier whom I always met, super multi tasker and he deserve a pay raise.

The food tasted so good that I went back for lunch despite having had breakfast there. There was a generous serving of butter and the bun was soft but crispy on the outside after being toasted. The kopi was strong, rich and creamy. The prawns in the mee siam were fresh. They were firm with a crunch texture. The soup was so good that I ended up finishing it.

Service staff were extremely helpful. My kid accidentally spilled the drinks. The service crews immediately came to help us relocated to another table and clean up without hesitation. Thumbs up! Price of the restaurant are also fairly reasonable considering it's located at an attraction.
