I bought the sotong stick and it was as hard as the satay stick. I returned to the shop and asked if I could change to another item. The aunty instead of agreeing to my simple request, said it is supposed to be hard. I left the stick together with my other purchases on the counter and left. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I had a bad experience at Old Chang Kee AMK Hub just now around 4pm-ish. When I was making payment, the cashier mistakenly assumed I wanted to pay by NETS. I was holding out cash and did not even take out my card, so I’m not sure why that assumption was made. When I handed her cash, she told me, “I think next time you better pay by NETS so it’s easier for me.” I was confused and responded “Huh?” because I didn’t understand what she meant. She then repeated herself but raised her voice at me in a rude tone. I felt this was unprofessional and unnecessary, especially since the misunderstanding was not my fault. It made for a very unpleasant customer experience. I couldn’t catch the cashier’s name, but I hope Old Chang Kee AMK Hub can provide proper customer service training to ensure staff communicate respectfully with customers and handle payment misunderstandings more professionally.

Extremely disappointed and upset with the service today. The cashier and counter staff were unbelievably rude and spoke to us with a very bad attitude. We were simply trying to redeem the $2 cashback voucher, but instead of explaining the promotion properly, the staff shouted at us loudly in front of other customers. This is not even about the $2 cashback. It is about basic customer service and respect. If there is an ongoing promotion, staff should be properly trained and briefed so they can guide customers politely instead of behaving so rudely and making customers feel embarrassed and angry. Totally unacceptable service experience.

bought $6.40 worth of items, but got rejected when I asked for disposable cutlery. reason is “cannot give you cause they are for sets” which is quite lame.
