Nice food with nice ambience. Prepare for long queue and wait during evening peek period. Food is consistent. Excellent array of dessert to suit all tastebuds. Level 2. Nearest MRT is Woodlands.

Great branch! Place is relatively filled up at 4pm on a Saturday. Food was good. We ordered clam chowder with bread bowl, salmon baked rice, carbonara, fried mushroom, banana crumble and 1 ice cream. About 80$+ for 2. The food is very good, especially the clam chowder and fried mushroom n its dipping sauce 🤤 Banana crumble was prepared at the table so it was a feast for the eyes too! But I found it a bit too sweet with a reservoir of syrup after all the sizzling died down which was not so visually appealing n the tart was slightly dry. Otherwise all good.

Perhaps they are understaffed. Can see the staff trying very hard and rushing about (much appreciated). Despite the so so food and service the outlet has been enjoying good business through the years. Very good deal with the apps.

Very friendly staffs and tasty deserts. We got brownie, truffle sun, and apple pie. The brownie is very hard. The truffle sun is a bit too sweet.

When we first arrived, a staff named JUN HONG allowed us into the restaurant after doing the safe entry check-in without assigning us to any seats. So we checked if its okay to be seated anywhere & he nodded. We waited for more than 5 minutes for someone to attend to us but no one came. There was no hardcopy menu nor was there any ipad on our table. We approached him afterwards & was informed that we have to be shifted elsewhere where the ipads are. WHAT??? Shouldn’t he be directing us in in the very first place??? Minutes later, we noticed that he brought in another batch of customer who was a table away from us & even explained in detail on how the ordering should be & whatever their soup of the day is. Why is there a different treatment here in Causeway? I had no issues with other Swensens outlet, be it at IMM, Plaza Sing, Jurong Point etc but today is just horrible! My mood was ruined entirely. On top of that, I ordered a Sirloin Steak in MEDIUM. Take a look at the doneness & judge for yourself if it looks like it’s well done??? We didn’t bother anymore to highlight it to their managers. They were busy talking to themselves at the counter furthermore we were already starving at that point of time & don’t wished to wait any longer. The only staff I would like to give a compliment to is HONG (bald head guy). He offered us cups of iced water the moment he passed by our empty table. Other than that, it was a very bad experience for us.

Great place to eat, tables space out evenly, which is not clustered. Food is portion enough to make you full. The table service is still reasonable, but the staff may sometimes forget the request made, not overly concerned.

The staffs were helpful & somewhat nicer. It did seemed like they were understaff so that could be the issue? This was the go-to place for my family’s tradition to have our birthday celebration. Food took an estimation of 20 minutes to arrive. First few orders food was hot/warm but last bits was room temperature. Especially the sizzling pan was not even sizzling and the apples were not fresh. Battered fish was dark brown & hard, inside were chewy. Lasagne seemed to be missing a layer because last i ordered it at least had 3 layers. We usually order the same things so it was to our surprise how badly it tasted this time round.

Waited 15 mins queuing waiting to be seated. There were already empty tables but the staff kept clearing tables. Food ordered were rather fast to be served. Food is okay, at least my daughter enjoyed herself. Please improve your service!

This outlet serves the customers well by always asking to give water to us, the steak was alright/good, the sauce was perfect I always love Swensens always consistent with their food my childhood favourite delicious meat

Update 6 Aug 2023 New menu but service is terrible. Had to wait for 20min for my sundae to come. When I made a redemption of the complimentary single scoop ice-cream for my kid, it never arrived. Gave up and left after 20min. 2022 Great food. With SMM in place, waiting time is slightly longer than usual. Download the app for daily deals and freebies. 🙂

Service was quite prompt. Though I think the layout of the seats meant that it's not always easy to get the servers' attention. I ordered the Ultimate Burger which was quite nice but somewhat greasy, as you can see a big spot of grease on the paper under the burger. You can still get your free membership drink and free monthly sundae for your kids but through Telegram and not their app.

Food is okay, not the best that I have had for western. There are a wide range of food choices in terms of cuisines. In addition, Swensen’s is known for its ice cream and I have to agree that they have lots of interesting ice cream recipes and designs. Perhaps they are lacking kitchen staff, the place didn’t seem crowded but food took a long time to arrive. Even additional dessert ordered took way longer (we have finished all our meals and waited a long time with empty plates on the table before the dessert arrived)

Was so looking forward to my dinner of steak but it turned out disappointed. Ordered the sirloin steak medium well. The meat was so hard to chew. Can even finish eating the meat. Disappointed with Swenson quality.

The food standard has dropped! The salmon was hard and strong fishy smell. The mushroom soup was sourly taste. The yam coconut ice cream has a lot of little ice bite. The mush potatoes the best and the beef ball is acceptable. Overall quite disappointed.

I have my first Swensen experience in this branch with my bf and his brother. We were happily went in and the waitress bring us to the seat at ~11.45am. There are total of 4-5 table are seated with 2-4 customers. The seat she brought us to was small and narrow for 3 adults. We requested to changed seat and able to get better seat. We were instructed to use the iPad to order the food. The iPad is laggy (can't blame). We ordered 2 cheese baked rice and 1 pasta and was informed that the side dish and soup of the day is not available as it's weekend and they did not update the system. (huh..) So he help to change the order. As my bf know the cheese baked rice will take longer, so we send the order for cheese bake rice early... and I send my pasta order later. It took 20 minutes for 2 baked rice to be served. AND IT TOOK >50 MINUTES FOR A PASTA TO BE SERVED. While I patiently waiting, there are new party of customer came in (each about 4-8 in one table) much later than us. BUT WHY THEY ALREADY HAPPILY HAVE THEIR BRUNCH AND LEAVE THE RESTAURANT AND I still patiently wait for my pasta :), my bf and his brother already finished their baked rice and I also seeing the staff happily and professionally asked other customer how is their food, but why they never ask me?? As a person, we all understand what is HANGRY and that is my situation at that moment. I cannot throw my temper as a cultured person, but I really disappointed on this. I may not come again.. Anyway, the pasta also not nice, the mushroom is smelly, the pasta is tasteless. only the salmon is good. :) Sorry to the Swensen lover but this is my first time visit. Bon appetite guys :)

Service is SLOW Here's a timeline: - 7pm, ordered - 7.15pm, drinks served - 7.30pm, Our soup which was lukewarm was served with bread that was hard (appetisers) - 7.40pm, our chicken wings served (appetisers) - 7.50pm, our burgers served (mains) - 8.15pm, finished our meal and asked for our dessert to be served - 8.50pm, after asking the servers about 3 times, our banana split finally served Appetisers were bad, mains and desserts were good. Just have to be super patient to eat here.

Me and my wife went there to have lunch, and overall it was disappointing. We ordered Chicken baked rice, Classic Ultra burger and ice cream. The Chicken baked rice came quickly but after 30mins of waiting the burger did not arrive at all. During the 30mins no staff checked in on us even when it was 2 people and only one baked rice on the table, in the end we had to check with the staff on the burger and they said it has been served wrongly pointing to the guest behind us. But the whole time I did not notice any staff bringing any burger pass us. I told them that dessert can be served together with the burger as we were rushing off soon. So we waited another 30mins and they brought out the dessert but the burger was still not served. By the time We had finished the baked rice and dessert and finally the burger is here, but they served a different burger than the one i ordered. I told the staff to send it back cause it was a wrong burger and totally different from the menu, but the staff brought out the same burger from the kitchen again and said that its what i ordered. I showed them their menu and my order, what they served my was the og burger and not the classic one. But at this point i was fed up and I told them to close the bill. Overall it was very disappointing, the baked rice tasted like something that you can make at home, dessert was good but i wasted 1 hr there and did not even get to try the burger.
