Swensen’s has always been a very reliable choice for family dining in Singapore, with a wide variety of food on the menu for just about everybody. Classic favorites like breaded mushrooms, chicken baked rice, fish and chips are fail-proof options, and there are new options like the Impossible burgers, etc. Kids are well taken care of with an extensive kids’ menu, and there are cute sundaes to top up for at $4.90. The NEX outlet is always crowded, and I took a star off because they were very understaffed. The staff members are warm and friendly, but it was so hard getting the attention of any of them during weekend lunch time.

We had the Beef Tenderloin with coleslaw and potato chips. It was done in accordance to our request (medium rare). The quality of tenderloin was good. Had always loved their coleslaw, somehow the serving this time seemed bigger - good for us. I had a complimentary mint ice cream (birthday month treat). Perks for being a SWENSEN’S member, which cost nothing and in addition we get some credits for each patronage 👍. Must say that the services provided by all the staff were exemplary even though with near full house. They gave good guidances and recommendations and did their best to oblige our requests. Well done!

Ordered Swensen's seafood platter, ice cream log cake and ice cream for company event. So many special flavours! Mocha almond, lower-sugar chocolate, sticky chewy chocolate, strawberry, cookie and cream... I tried the low sugar one, it is good! Really not so sweet~

Good service. First try the impossible burger. Not too bad. Love the burger bun, softer and fluffy. It was a bad idea to serve coleslaw on a flat wooden board, the sauce went dripping all over. Fish and chips standard dropped to below average.

We were pondering if we should give a 4 or 5 stars. But seeing the last few reviews, think it deserves a 5 to bring up the average. We really had a good dining experience here. Staffs were really delivery to check our vaccination status and IC for place of residence. Waiters were nice pleasant and attended to us with smile and prompt response. I strongly recommend the Impossible burger. It is the best I have tasted and I finally agree it tastes like real meat. Our boys managed to finish the pizza, chickens and the sausage rolls all by themselves. Even the fries were also swept clean. That means they really like it. Carbonara pasta is about average but the chocolate fondue set up a nice climax desert time. When we saw the long queue waiting outside as we left, we were really glad that we came early. Have to admit, the last time I visited a Swrnson’s was almost 30 years ago. Think we won’t wait so long to come back again.

I recently visited this ice cream parlour and it was truly an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambience that enveloped the entire space. The interior was beautifully decorated with a modern touch that made me feel like I was in a high-end restaurant. The technology they used to take orders and deliver food was simply amazing. It was so efficient and seamless that it made the entire experience a breeze. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our orders were taken quickly and accurately. But the real standout of the experience was the ice cream. The flavors were creative and delicious, with a variety of options that catered to every taste. From the rich and creamy chocolate to the refreshing and tangy lemon sorbet, every flavor was simply divine. Overall, I highly recommend this ice cream parlour to anyone looking for an unforgettable dessert experience. With delicious ice creams, great ambience, and amazing technology to take orders and deliver food, this is a must-visit destination for anyone with a sweet tooth. Five stars all the way!

The food is always good. Service wise, the one provided by the staff with various disabilities left much to be desired. But surely they too need to be given a chance, just a but more training, perhaps? This branch has spacious seating.

A family-friendly restaurant with plenty of seats. Beside their normal menu. They also have a good selection of dessert menu which will spoilt you. Love their malt shakes.

Decent curry chicken that is thick and flavourful! The mushroom soup is average. However the baked rice was disappointing. Tasted a little too blend. I prefer my baked rice to be topped with generous servings of cheese so this kinda failed to hit the mark. For this price, not worth it. You could get much better quality at a cafe.

This is my usual order. But my dinner last night was very disappointing. The cheese they put is soooo little. and it wasn’t even baked. Please it’s $19 plus it’s not cheap pls improve ur quality.

1st time( 28.10.2023) came here from jurong at 8pm. It was splendid. Great food, great people and great other customer that were next to us. Waiter was cool when our neighbor spilled the water. Nice manager. Nice waiters. All the waiter were great! I dont mind coming here just for swensens!!. We never like our place swensens. We are happy to see nice people here. All customers were happy eating. We could see that all food on plate were emptied. Again it was long queue but still manageable. Please don't change the chef coz great cook bring great people! Awesome Swenses at Nex!!

The Cornflake Crispy Chicken was dry & frozen chicken was used. Frozen chicken has a unmistakable weird taste and not as juicy as fresh chicken. Some chicken cutlet from coffee shop or foodcourt can easily beat this & cheaper by half too!

We went on a weekday and yet the service was horrible. Baked rice was unbearable 🤢. The only tasty food was the nasi lemak we took away! We had to wait 30mins after our dinner to get the ice cream served! NO one cared to check on the table and overlooked our request to serve dessert. Worst swensens outlet ever!

Service was okay. The supervisor was a bit rude maybe due to many orders to rush. Not many variety of food and beverage choices. Taste wise not bad, mostly bland and dry. Price wise on higher end but the portion size makes up for it - quite big and generous. The dining area was a bit cramped. Resides in mall next to mrt station. The restaurant located right next to toilet/restroom which was convenient. The ice creams okay. Flavor-wise nothing special but on less sweet side which were great. Plating style were great. Recommended

Went on a Saturday evening. 80% filled with patrons. Ordered battered chicken wing, fish and chips, boneless chicken(both sets) and snowscape wonderland. Service: It's fine. Nothing special but nothing bad. Atmosphere: Seated besides carton boxes. Food: Fish and chips was good, no fridge or fishy smell. Chicken was too salty. The new wonderland dessert's bread is too tough. Will I go back again? Yes.

Had been eating swensen's since a decade ago, food in this outlet is only average. Fries was not that cripsy, salmon was kinda dry and a little tough to bite. Older folks and children might have a challenge eating. Fish n chips wasnt up to standard, not crispy and same for the fries. Felt kinda thirsty after eating, might be due to them putting a little too much salt?.. However service is great! Staff were patient and polite. Restaurant was clean quite, same goes for the tables and sofas. Great atmosphere for meetings and catch ups.

It has been a year since our last visit here (but several visits made to it's other outlets throughout the year though). It was Sunday, around 11.40am when we arrived. The restaurant was not crowded only with a few occupied tables (but later on as moved past 12.15pm, the restaurant was quite crowded as it's lunch time) We were then the only ones at queue and we waited for quite a good while before being "noticed" by the manager. At first we thought they might have manpower issue but later proved other else. The staff didn't seem enthusiastic in welcoming customers, I knew some pretended "didn't see". That was also the same experience in our previous visit here. After being led into the restaurant to a table, we saw more staff inside and so apparently it was not the lack of manpower issue. After browsing through the menu, we ordered the breaded chicken, chicken in the basket, seafood aglio aglio, the banana split ice cream and the coffee. Due to the slow service, we also waited for quite a while before our foods were served. And the interval between the food served was also quite long. The portions of the food were huge. The chicken was nicely marinated and well deep fried with golden yellow colour. They were crispy outside and juicy inside, yummy! I liked the coleslaw that came along with it, very tasty while the french fries were well done too. The aglio aglio was good, fragrant, delicious and a little spicy (for my mum). And the ice cream, no doubt, very nice and the chocolate and coffee flavour were super flavourful and rich in taste! Although service was slow, the staff were overall friendly and efficient in taking orders, responding to our requests to bring us tartar and chilli sauces for our fries. But again when making payment at the counter, there was no one manning it and had to wait again for quite a while, before a staff spotted us and came over and by this time, there was already a queue outside the restaurant. (though inside the restaurant, there were still many empty tables) Price wise, would say good value for money, given the portion and food quality and if not the slow services, we would have given it a 4-star! Not sure if they will buck up their services and since our last visit here (with review), nothing seemed to change.

Experience was ok, restaurant seems serverely short staffed, only 3 or 4 servers + cleaner on the ground where 2 are supervisor/managers. Food was ok, but was very disappointed in the garden vege as i thought there would at least be broccoli…. But instead, only getting corn cob and beans (which i both hate…) and chicken was also quite salty

Taste was sorely lacking. With the exception of the mushroom soup, the cereal chicken and curry chicken baked rice were both unappetising. It came as a shock because we patronised Swensen's in the past and the standard was much higher at that time. Both dishes weren't savoury enough. Everything was really quite bland, from the fries to the chicken to the curry itself. We even had to ask for salt to make it more appetising! As for the portion, the cereal chicken was very thin and flat (don't be fooled by the picture) - it was super small! All in all, I personally wouldn't come back. Was a disappointing experience and an expensive one too; for two mains and one soup, we paid around $55.
