Food is good and I like it but service 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Went on 30 July around 1.30pm. The lady serving me. Me: I want beansprouts She: no more, what else? Me: broccoli She: no more, what else? Me: *picked next item* She: what else? Me: *picked next ingredient* She: what else? . . . And she “what else” all the way until I finished my selection. 😮💨

Because of the poor service attitudes given by the 2 chinese male staff, the overall rating is a 2! I patronize Poke Theory frequently and by far the service staff here in Kent Ridge is below bar. I am only referring to the 2 chinese male staff. I entered the premise with zero customer. 1 of the staff was doing washing while the other one was standing at the counter looking at phone or some other device, but definitely not a grab/panda device.. He seemed engrossed. I gave him some time and approached him to say I am ready to order. He pointed to the right side indicating that I should go there. I went and waited. No one came. After awhile the one that was doing washing came to take my order; not in a pleasant manner probably cause he was interrupted halfway through the washing. I proceed to pay and was taken by surprise when I see both the staff smiling so politely and happily when they see a young lady walking towards the counter (I presumed she is their regular). Anyway this review serves as a reminder that all customers should be served the same. There should not be a double standard. I really hope the management can look into this and bring this message across to your staff if you agree in my point. Your food is nice but it definitely do not taste good because of the treatment I received from your service staff.

Wanted to get a bowl, but the 2 available staff (who glanced 2-3 times at me) were busy prepping their own stuff and didn't seem like they wanted to serve me. When one of them finally decided to serve me, it was with an attitude that they'd rather be anywhere else but here. Multiple toppings such as charred broccoli, sesame beansprouts and egg whites (just to name the few that I wanted to get, there were a few more) were all unavailable. What's the point of staying open to serve customers if so many of your toppings are going to be unavailable. The sauce station was also messy. First time visiting and I'm inclined to make it my last.

Asked for 5 portions of broccoli as the other ingredients I wanted were not available anymore (at 12 noon which is ridiculous to begin with), received this small portion of broccoli?? If they were running out of broccoli they could have let me know and I would have picked other ingredients too. The portion of rice was also much smaller than usual. this was not worth $11 at all, visit at your own risk. Other outlets are much better

Fresh ingredients and really tasty sauces made the poke bowl excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d love to come back and try their acai bowl too.
