Chicken wing is cold and bland, totally no chicken wing or the oomph taste, which is a complete waste for a nasi lemak dish. Basmati rice is good quality, while anchovies is insufficient. Though the place is clean, but to carry the name of “Crave Nasi Lemak” would make one expect more. Unlikely to warrant a return.

I gave Crave a second try and it was a good call. This branch has rice that is quite lemak so I really enjoyed it. Just that pricing was on the higher side for the nasi lemak, and the male staff wasn't attentive to the orders. The receipt printed in pretty big writing that there was a special order of no cucumber, but the guy can still put cucumber. When I asked him to remove it, he said he put in already. In other words, lazy to remove and he would rather waste food. Other than that, the rice was delicious enough for me to want to eat there again.

Queue was fast but crowded during lunchtime. I ordered the chicken wing which is crispy. The basmati rice was special but fine. However, the chilli is a bit too sweet for my likings. Good to try this as a meal but not enough to wow me into converting from the classic coconut Nasi Lemak.

Clean and cool environment with not much crowd. Basmati rice used with light coconut milk taste and smell. Chicken wing hot and crispy, ikan billis fried crispy. Chili not outstanding, can do. Portion average.

Good nasi lemak. I tried the chicken wing nasi lemak. The nasi (rice) itself is made of the long grain basmati rice. I liked that it wasn't too oily. The chicken wing was quite good. It was quite crispy and the meat inside was still rather juicy. I also tried their otah. It was quite well seasoned and quite fragrant. The texture itself is very similar to a fish cake. Do expect some wait for your orders to be packed during lunch hours.

Now for a Malaysian, it is always a challenge to find good Nasi Lemak. Decided to give this place a try and it’s my first time having Nasi Lemak in Singapore this year. Now they use basmathi rice which was healthier but this type of rice is typically harder to absorb the coconut milk’s goodness hence you only have a slight taste of it. The sambal was sweet which I prefer a spicier version. I wished they offer more rendang or masak merah options versus fried chicken. I liked that they have good options for vegetables to provide a good balance. Eating Nasi Lemak that comes with chicken needs proper utensils and eating with plastic cutleries doesn’t provide good experience. Will bring my own cutleries next! Overall a good try for this place. PS: can you provide hard boiled egg option. For those who seek for a healthier egg option.

Very slow service during lunch time. Already long queue at 12.15pm. Took 30 mins to order and get the takeaway food. They even left out the sambal. 1 staff at food counter preparing food and pass to customers, 1 cashier staff double up to take order and help with getting the food causing a long wait to get order taken, 1 staff still frying chicken inside, 1 staff topping up drinks and stuffs, 1 uncle doing cleaning. Personally feel that food and drinks could have been prepared earlier before the busy period.

Queue for at least 20 minutes.. only 4-5 people in front. Queue is moving super slow. Ordered the curry chicken Nasi lemak.. the person says going to start cooking..asked if can change to chicken wings.. they say cannot .thought they should have the courtesy to inform us that we need to wait (they haven’t even started cooking ) , so at least we can change our mind ! No flexibility , bad attitude! Will not patronise this stall anymore!

$2.80 for a small piece of chicken wing. And dare to ask for 30 cents more for some sambal. And really grumpy Chinese lady serving me. At least the malay lady was polite and offered to give me free sambal. Not coming back anymore.
