The soup is excellent! There is a lot of soup to choose from, tried the goulash and tokyo chicken soup. Both soup was hot and flavorful.

Got off the ferry with my family and found this Soup Spoon cafe that was newly open a few months ago. Business must be good as they ran short of the bowls for the soup with the pastries. Mushroom soup was thick and the chicken broth, lots of ingredients. Salads were fresh and the pastries were done right, crispy on the top and soft on the inside. The staff were friendly which helps with a new establishment.

A Soup Spoon outlet that is not crowded. It is nice chilling here in the afternoon to do work with laptop as It is quiet and usually no people during off peak hours. Power plugs were not working midway thru one evening. I think probably they turned it off on purpose. Update 27 Apr 2021: Currently they play soft classical music here. Environment is conducive for discussion or working. However do take note they no longer allow us to use their power plugs (these are covered). If they allow us to use them to charge our device, I will definitely give this place a 5 star rating as everything else seems good. I came here for coffee and cake this afternoon. There is a set going for $5.90-$6.90 depending on your choice of drinks. You can come here during teatime instead of the usual places such as the coffee bean or Starbucks which are more crowded.

I like the mushroom soup but the bread is very extra and salad is terrible
