First time I ate at the Soup Spoon at Sengkang Grandmall. I ate the new Sourdough Bread Bowl Meal, the Nanny's Javanese Opor Ayam and home-brewded ice jasmine green tea. It comes in a set and it's on offer at $13.70. The bread was crispy and the Soup was delicious with a sweet sour taste...

Tried the herbed chicken salad with fusilli for $12+, and it was pretty worth the money. Portion was huge (2 could order a small soup and share this) and the different ingredients (orange slices, tomatoes, carrots, almond slices etc) went surprisingly well together! My only gripe was the lack of smaller tables in the restaurant. All the tables were for 4 pax, and many diners came in small groups of 1-2, which wasted a lot of space and deterred some diners.

Happy to have an outlet in my hood. The blasting air con is a nice respite from the afternoon heat. Also appreciate the expanded menu but my iced mocha is disappointing. Also they don't provide stirrers or straw for coffee so I had to use the soup spoon.

Tried their $7.90 promo or value set. Felt very cheated: the petite soup is a mere small cup of soup (not even a small bowl); the Caesar salad does *not* contain chicken (I only realized it was not “Caesar *chicken* salad” in the promo options when the food came - you’re paying for a bowl of lettuce and half an egg with some cranberries and croutons); the ice lemon tea was so diluted it tasted like water. This strategy by Soup Spoon is appalling for someone who has regularly patronized its other usual menu dishes (which have more reasonable substance, although portion sizes have shrunk over the years). Please do not deceive customers with such “value” sets - it may be “value” for soup spoon but definitely not for customers.

Went down slightly before 9.30pm on a wednesday and the kitchen was closed. Made a wasted trip as only soup was available. Please update opening hours on google accordingly. Service staff was cordial.

Nice small cozy cafe . Food is ok nice, better than branch at CCP. . Hope to have more coffee / tea break options.

Tomato soup + salad at $7.90, that is my opinion is a steal! Clean and nice environment, not pack on a sat, perhaps mall is still new.

When they first opened, the serving of their nourish bowl was just enough for a meal. However, now they give very little rice in the same nourish bowl. I would have continued to support them if they maintained their standard. It seems like their commitment to provide affordable, healthy meals have been lost. $15 for a bowl of salad is asking for too much. Even subway is cheaper

First and last. Came after lunch time crowd end on Sunday. Lots of tables empty. My family of 3 browsing the self service menu and the Filipino male staff staring at us and tapping his fingers impatiently waiting for us to finish our orders. Ordered pulled-beef sandwich set but the pulled-beef was too little. The other 2 salad set and teriyaki set were ok. No serviettes were given. Atmosphere was quiet but was entertain by Chinese female staff taking her break at the corner table watching her chinese shows on mobile phone with volume UP. All the way till we finished our lunch. I was asked by the Filipino staff to clear my tables which I gladly do only to found the location to clear the trays were at the tight corner. I have to squeeze to get thru. I can't imagine if there are crowds to squeeze that corner to clear my tray. Overall not a good experience there.
