Always a great food experience here. Coin prata nice and crispy. Mutton bryani was tender and flavourful. The sweet lassi was good as well. This prata shop is definitely much better than the one at Jalan Kayu. Might be abit out of the way but worth it! Prices about $10 per pax with drinks depending on what you eat.

So much easier to get here with the Thomson-East Coast MRT line right at the door step!. Finally made it out this place with some overseas guests. Beautiful mural on the wall showing local prata shop culture. The menu was very well-suited for tourists, with a range of local staples (egg onion), fusion-type modern renditions (raclette cheese) and dessert (chocolate) prata. Curry is self-service and I recommend the fish curry for the yummy assam taste. Oh, and don't forget to bring tissue packets to chope and wipe your mouths afterwards - no napkins provided!

Good prata! Very crispy. Even the egg prata was super crispy. The curry was not as good as the prata. I asked for fish curry, but this is not the spicy type. Maybe I prefer those with spicier taste. Since it’s my first time visiting his branch, I was quite surprise to see people queuing outside the shop before it opens at 8am. A place cyclists will frequent due to the location.

Wasn’t very impressed. Service Staff seemed impatient, and were unknowledgeable about the food they were serving. Had their Special Lamb Briyani too, but it was very underwhelming. It’s mostly bone. Maggi Goreng was terrible bland, almost like it’s just been cooked in water and drained. Their Plain Prata was crispy, as promised. Plaster Blaster and Umami 50 were some interestingly delicious items. The ingredients for Murtabak were not scattered evenly, so it was quite confusing with each bite. Other than that, just a over hyped, and expensive place.

After all the fuss about how good their prata is, we decided to pay a visit. Crispy yes, but is it that nice? Nope. Paying $2.40 for 1 egg prata is not worth it, plus it was super oily. As for the maggi goreng chicken, paying $6.60 for some simple tossed noodles is ridiculous. I would give $3.50 max. Finding the parking space was another headache. Maybe my fellow Singaporeans want an aircon place to relax and chit chat. Even that should be avoided since it is covid times. Conclusion, just not worth it. Ask me and I can suggest other neighbourhood uncles selling superb tasting pratas and maggi goreng.

One of my favorite prata places. Portions aren't very big, but everything is tasty. I don't normally like maggi goreng but they do those very nicely with a very interesting seasoning. Had the ultimate murtabak with tandoori chicken and cheese and it was smaller and thinner than expected but very nice and cheesy. They have fish and chicken curry (self service) and they taste different, but both are good.

Sgd10.7 for one double egg prata and one Maggi goreng. Both are awesome, prata was crispy and fresh, curry two types, one fish one chicken, both taste unique and equally likeable. Maggi goreng was slightly spicy despite not being red at all. Egg yolk was very nice orange and nicely cooked, just runny enough. Full house at 9pm on eve of public holiday, several large groups and numerous small groups. A few baby high chairs available. Service not too bad. Food was promptly served. Place is air conditioned. Can get loud if patrons are rowdy, but it adds to the supper ambience. Have been here for breakfast too, equally enjoyable. Payment by fave pay, got rebate. This prata place might have just overtaken another prata joint to become first place in my heart.

The food here is good and all came out fresh from the kitchen~ We tried the new dish Okonomiyaki which is Japanese inspired toppings on thosai base. A really interesting fusion dish! The prata dishes and drinks here are so good, I’m definitely returning!!! Most importantly, it’s affordable! Everything we ordered came up to just slightly over $50, a filling meal for 4 pax! It’s cheaper if you just order prata type stuff, our bill came up higher as we ordered rice/noodle/meat!

This is one of the best prata I had. I love the consistency of the curry like it’s neither too thick or liquidity. The place just surprised you with the scent of curry upon entering. There’s a lot of unique dishes on the menu which will love to try next time.

Love this wide variety of Indian cuisine at Springleaf. Lots of choices of Prata, drinks (for adults and children), Murtabak and many more. 𝓐𝓵𝓪 𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓮: Butter Chicken (chicken leg in sweet spice sauce) Curry Mutton (mild spicy tender mutton) 𝓟𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓪: Coin Prata (5 crispy Prata) Egg Prata (huge egg Prata) 𝓓𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓴𝓼: Coffee Cino (coffee with milk) Teh Halia (ginger tea) Banana Lassi (sour yoghurt with banana) 𝓤𝓵𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓼: ThosaiMiyaki (Prata with turkey ham, cabbage in Korean sauce & Mayo) - kid’s favourite

One of our fav prata place. Love the air-conditioned place and fast service. Most importantly is of course the delicious food. I personally love their plain prata; very buttery, light, fluffy and crispy! The Maggi goreng is nice too, very flavourful and not oily. However, the coffee and Teh Tarik was pretty diluted.

Since taking bus 169 in my younger days(1990s), I've already spotted this shop existing. It was until the Thomson East Coast line was built that I had the opportunity to stop by here! Haha...good food which is worth the long wait! Can't imagine itz already past more than 30 years! Itz a small restaurant with enough seats for old and young. There was a short wait b4 a table was available. Ordered a ultimate murtabak was nt a wrong choice. Superbly cheesy and v filling. And, itz still a must to try their plain prata, served with curry which you can refill till satisfied! Had a go with the butter chicken rice set and almost fell in love instantly with the crispy papadom!

Always like the food here. Strongly recommended ! You can either chose to sit inside the air-con or outside

Good for their plain Prata. Like their crispy texture. The plaster Prata is good as well. The runny eggs compliments the crispy Prata. Some other dishes worth trying is the mutton curry. The keema mutton curry is minced mutton in a thick and fragrant curry.. nice.. Parking is very limited. Park at Springleaf road. Service is fast but indoor seats are limited.

can't go wrong with their standard egg and cheese pratas! also tried their briyani, which had very fragrant rice and a tender accompanying masala chicken. also gave the butter chicken a try -- while flavourful, the consistency isn't quite the same as other butter chickens you might be used to.

My all time favorite prata to go definitely has to be Springleaf Prata Place! Their prata is very crispy and yummy! I will only eat their prata, no other places! And I like their Maggie goreng too! Must have!

My fav prata place! The plain prata is crispy and light, and 1 is never enough. The Maggie goreng has wok hei taste and it's very delicious.

Horrible experience. Ordered 2 cheese prata, ice milo less sweet, and papadam. Papadam was great! Went well with the fish curry. The ice milo less sweet was a whopping $3.40 and it was insanely sweet. Even my friend who enjoys extra sweet drinks said it was too sweet for him. Melting the ice and drinking from the top diluted layer was still too sweet. I think I could’ve made 2-3 cups of ice milo by just diluting it. The cheese prata was extremely disappointing too. It was so oily and fried that with every bite, you can literally feel the oil ooze out of the prata and coat your entire mouth. I’m someone who usually eats 4 cheese prata on a normal day and at this springleaf, one was more than enough to make me sick. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Food was great. Really enjoyed the paper prata (with sugar and condensed milk), the maggi goreng as well as the banana choc prata. Roti John is baguette with chopped meat, but too much sauce for my liking. Must drink at any mamak mamak will always be teh Halia for me, but apparently the bru coffee is great! Service can be more attentive though. They seemed very distracted when taking orders and there’s only one counter for the whole shop, so the q can be quite long. What’s cute is also the little plates for curry that you can self service! Look it. The large drinks are really huge, so beware! Bigger than my face! Haha. But well worth the money

Beware of trying to order a Teh Tarik without sugar/less sugar...they will sneakily charge you $0.50 more, which is reflected as teh C. When you talk to them about it afterward, they say that they don't do teh tarik with less/no sugar and therefore 'upgrade' it without clarification and charge more. That aside, the food is ok...Coin Prata looks exceedingly small, maybe I haven't been here for awhile but the Maggi goreng looks a little sad without any egg on it. Props to the old auntie (who only speaks hokkien) working furiously to clean the tables! She was a ray of sunshine

Really nice place with great prata. The price might be more expensive than some other prata places but it makes it up in quality and size as the pratas taste really good and it even has free flow chicken and fish curry which are both really delicious. Overall the portion was really filling for what it cost and would definitely return again or go to other outlets.

Good food, good vibes, and generally good service. Though the cashier is not always very "available", (the crowds come in waves) they are pretty efficient when taking orders. One thing to note though, is you have to specify the size of your drinks lest they automatically "supersize" you...😜😜😜😳

Full house but able to get a seat within 5 mins. Free flow curry. Fish curry was a bit sour for my taste. Curry chicken looks more like dhal curry to me. Not the best papadam i had. Mango lassi was thick but a bit too sweet. Overall, still good. Will revisit.
