Took a walk on Sunday morning ... a bit late for breakfast but way too early for lunch do, at around 11am popped over to junction trying to figure out what to eat. And then I recalled seeing Springleaf here so we headed on over. The place wasn't that crowded but it definately wasn't empty either. Got our seats looked at the menu and decided on the simple prata. Ordered and got back to our seats. This time it took a bit of time as there were lots of delivery orders prior to us, so the delay is understandable About 20 minutes later the food arrived. The curry wad self service so that was a pleasant surprise. Let's dive into the prata, it's really nice! Crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside. Yummeh! The curry wasn't fantastic but it was tasteful. Of course we had to accompany the meal with a teh halia! Delightfully spicy yet not overpowering. While eating, I observed that the staff ACTUALLY disinfected the tables clean! Bravo!!!! Even though the seating was set in a good distance between tables, the effort itself is commendable. I for one really do appreciate it alot! It means a whole lot and reflects well on the establishment and their values! All in all, I highly recommend this place and sure will visit them again. Visited on a weekday night to have our prata fix. Not much customers eating then but there were a number of food delivery orders. Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long and our food arrived. You have to get your own fork/spoon and curries (you get to choose chicken or fish curry) which is ok for us since we can get the amt of curries we want (we like the fish curry more). Prata was crispy and hot. We also ordered an egg prata and it arrived pretty quickly, nice and crispy! The only slight annoyance was that there was a fly that keep coming to our food initially that we had to keep fanning it away. Lime juice is pretty good.

I like there specialty pratas. This time, I had the Murtaburger, which is basically a murtabak with a ramly burger patty on the inside. I also ordered a piece of Masala Chicken. Both were good.

Food quality is less than ideal. Ordered a murtabak which was tasteless as no salt has been put. Ordered a nasi goreng and no proper vegetables were included. Ordered a less sugar teh o which was extremely sweet. No plan to visit again.

Finally back here after a long while for a feast! 🍽️ Used to order their crispy masala thosai & red bean prata regularly when I was still in school~ 🍳 ThosaiMiyaki (*for meat-eaters only; $7.90) Launched on 5 Aug, this creation continues Springleaf’s tradition of launching one super innovative new dish every year — as part of their Ultimate Series💡 Inspired by the Japanese okonomiyaki, this crispy thosai base was topped with shredded cabbage, sliced turkey ham & bonito flakes. The omni dad & mom enjoyed this! 🍋 Yuzu Gula Soda Top up $2 to get this as a set with the ThosaiMiyaki. A nice balance of sweet, tangy & fizzy — feels like multiple worlds colliding into one 💥 🪄 Magic Meatless Murtabak ($7.90) Includes a medley of lentils, mushrooms, curry leaves, vegan mayo and mildly spicy korean sauce. Didn’t really taste the curry leaves but appreciated the protein-rich pulses, juicy and umami mushrooms and creamy sauces! 😋 🍔 Vegan Impossible Murtaburger ($11.20) Very hearty burger-like creation, with two thick & chewy pieces of prata sandwiching lots of stretchy vegan cheese, impossible burger patties & sauce 🧀🫕 🥞 Hi-Fibre Plain Prata ($1.70) Interestingly doesn’t taste like it’s high-fibre. Seems like margarine or something was added to make it look really chewy and yellow. ❤️ Red Bean Prata ($4.40) This brings back memories of post-hike / after-school days 💭 Very sweet & super super crispy, just like what I remembered! ✨

Egg Prata n Plain Prata is nice. The taste of Maggie goreng is not something we like. Just felt the coin Prata should add more butter. Remember to ask for less sweet Teh Tarik and less sweet coffee if u dun like too sweet drink.

Small coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. I love the prata here and the butter chicken. The prata is crispy and the self-serving station of curry is a great thing. The curry is delicious and flavorful. The staff is efficient and generally nice. For the taste alone this shop gets a 5 star. One of my favourite spots for food.

Sooooo good. The food was generous, served quickly and was still hot (we loved it). The taste was incredibly authentic and flavorful. The briyani, masala chicken, afredo pasta, papadum, teh tarik everything was chef's kiss. First time here, It was worth it. If i crave authentic indian food again, i will definitely go back for some more. The best halal Springleaf Prata is here in this location, not sure why the ratings are lower than others. Highly recommended. Kudos to the chefs.

No queue and place was relatively empty when visited on 26 October 2023, Thursday morning. Ordered via the counter, payment was by cash as debit/credit cards aren't accepted (other cashless payment methods are accepted though). Order came quickly after. Pratas were served piping hot and crispy. Sauce trays for the prata gravy could be a bit cleaner though. Overall a pleasant experience.

We found a cockroach in our food! We raised the complaint to the service crew and they offered to give us a replacement. But we're already grossed out about this as we are unable to eat anything here. The service crew suggested that it might have fallen from the ceiling. But it is dead already and one of its legs is chopped off as well. I cannot imagine it being from the ceiling as the leg would fall far away or it would be alive and walk off normally. I don't think I can eat outside for a while now

We enjoyed the foods at Springleaf Prata Place. The Prata sugar is crispy, my girl loves it. I like the masala chicken and nasi biryani. The staff there is very friendly too.

One of their smallest outlet with limited seats. So there’s a rule that you have to order first and they will assign table for you at the counter. However some idiots will just chop seat and then q to order. Previously they do have a sign saying the above rule. But now they took it down. Thus there’s this constant confusion. I am happy for this rule but I hope that the staff can be consistent to tell the people off. Today they are kind of lack of staff as the plates were short and the orders took longer than usual. maggie goreng which is overly salty. My fav here is mozzarella cheese prata. 10/10 Plain Prata is crunchy and nice. Milo dinasaur is in a small cup which I think they do not have enough cup. Kind of sad when it cost more than other drinks.

The texture of the thosai is both crispy and soft~ It is versatile, pairing well with savoury curries 😍 The fish curry and chicken briyani are perfect too! The teh tarik is superb as it is not too sweet which indeed suit my taste 👍

We got the following: 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 ($𝟔.𝟗𝟎) Enjoyed this a lot! It comprises a plain prata with crisp edges and fluffy centres, which went well with the poached egg, and the saltiness from the turkey ham. But there was tooo much hollandaise sauce - it was super creamy and quite jelat so I scraped it off. Will reorder this, but I’ll request for a little bit of sauce on the side. 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢 ($𝟒.𝟖𝟎) Thin and chewy with a nice fermenty flavour, and a tasty mashy potato filling, with dips - coconut chutney (for some reason had a garlicky taste), daal curry, and a spicy tomato chilli chutney. The chutneys were quite refreshing, and the curry had a beany texture! Wished it was a little more crisp at the edges. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐤 ($𝟏𝟎) Murtabak was cheesy with mushrooms, egg and tandoori chicken. Tasty but was a little too salty for us. We particularly enjoyed the corner pieces, which had crispy edges! Better for sharing. 𝐓𝐞𝐡 𝐎 ($𝟏.𝟓𝟎) We also got a teh o kosong to cut through the hearty dishes~ I like that they are an inclusive business, hiring persons with disabilities as part of their kitchen workforce.

Food was so so so good. Wasn’t expecting much because I’ve seen mixed reviews on the food at the junction 10 outlet but woah, everything was on point! - Love the crispy pratas and thick curry (esp the tangy fish curry) - Black pepper chicken was real meaty and chonky, not too oily - teh terik was gao and shiok!

80% of their dough production is done by People with Disabilities (PWDs) & PWDs make up 40% of their kitchen’s total workforce 😇 Here are some items which I tried: 1) Plain thosai 2) Egg onion cheese prata ⭐️ 3) Kambing soup ⭐️ 4) Masala chicken briyani 5) Teh tarik ⭐️ It was my first time having kambing soup & it was SO HEARTY 🤩 the soup was packed w lots of spices & the mutton was v tender + not gamy!! the prata was HUGE & goes rly well w the free flow chicken + fish curry 😋 masala chicken was unique and the chicken was tender altho it could be juicier 😅 absolutely enjoyed their teh tarik bc of the perfect sweetness level & the tea’s aroma 😍😍😍

They serve a lot of specialty prata, but we still prefer the basic options. We got the Coin Prata and the Egg Prata, and both have a nice thin crisp! They have Chicken Biryani and Goreng sets too, quite worth because you can get a set below $10!
