The paper Prata with sugar were excellent 👌👌 Edit: prata is my favorite supper, went back for round 2. Still tasted very consistent. Hope to go back for more!

I find the prices of the various prata types relatively higher than those offered in other stalls and eateries. I can see the reason why. The variety they offer, and the demand of such great prata really deserves the higher prices. Besides, the sizes of the prata are also bigger than many I have eaten before. As such, it is extremely important to be careful not to over-order. It really is too easy to do do! I really like the prata here, as they are made fresh, with warmth yet crispy in each bite. The choice of curries, and that we can help ourselves with the curry refill is really a big plus point for me. Not forgetting, the Maggi Goreng I had was really one of the best I have ever tasted thus far.

What is it about fried dough and curry that gets most of us so happy? I don’t have an answer but when the urge for a Roti Prata rises, one of the places I head to is @springleafprataplace in Jalan Tua Kong. They are such an innovative company - just look at the fancy Prata creations they have come up with over the years. I have tried a couple of them but truth be told, my heart still yearns for the basic Egg Prata ($2.50+). However, I do like to spike it with sliced green chillies for some fresh heat ($0.70+). Ordered the Ultimate Murtabak as well to share on this visit and I get why it’s popular. Filled with tandoori chicken, portobello mushrooms, hot and ooey-gooey mozzarella cheese, it’s a really tasty package deal. Strictly speaking, the fish curry gravy (which you help yourself to) isn’t even necessary but it does bring another fragrant facet of flavour to the mix and changes what could pass off as a Mexican quesadilla into a local Indian delight instantly. The Mini version ($9.50+) is what we got by the way, and it was big! I can only imagine how many people the Ultimate Murtabak in the original size would be able to feed.

We were told this roti prata is definitely listed in top 3 9f prata restaurants in Singapore but unluckily we never made it in these months, every time we ride here, it is closed. On the past weekend, we saw the whole building was wrapped like under re-construction or renovation, we thought we could not taste it but luckily, it was opened.. ha The prata tasted really good as it was fried to really crispy and very tender for egg and cheese inside. We also ordered chicken mutabak, which is really recommended, too

First time enjoying a huge feast of Indian fried delights as the NDP Festive Set which is value for money and able to try out each of the unique dishes! Free flow curry to go with the dishes and especially enjoy the teh tarik

Crispy prata and self service curries. The ultimate series is always exciting to try so I applaud them for the yearly new flavour. Food is good but it's noisy and have to wait for a bit for food.

Always full of people during dinner and supper. But loved their crispy styled prata. My usual orders are plain prata with mutton curry. Simple and awesome. The coin prata is a must try too.

The best pratas in Singapore Alot of innovative ideas for fusion pratas. Tried a whole-meal prata the last visit. Pratas are also crispy and good sized. The Fish curry is also fantastic. Rich, creamy and free-flow !

The place is spacious but still very crowded during breakfast and lunch time. The meat is very tender, and the flavour is so rich of spice. Several curry sauce available for free and it is free flow.

We had a lovely meal as a family there! This place is no stranger to us as we have patronised before! The new dish okonomiyaki was interesting!

Prata taste not as good as railway’s mall branch. Raclette quite overpriced and less tasty as compare to normal prata. Overall dinning experience still good though. Back again, this time the standard is as good as Railways, staff were friendly, nice atmosphere, delicious prata😘 Thanks for the free prata and congrats on achieving Michelin Guide 2023

Unfortunately, not a good experience. Hope they improve after reading this. The good: Crispy prata Clean and nice atmosphere The bad: Connectivity is poor and they know it. Don’t bother trying to scan the QR codes for payment. Curry is salty and diluted. Curry is self service. Higher price compared to other prata shops.

We love Springleaf Prata for their array of interesting prata though I find them a tad pricey. This round we went for a simple prata set which comes with Teh Tarik + Masala Chicken + 2 pcs prata. Masala chicken was tender and very flavourful. My son also wanted the cheese pratas so we tried 1 mozzarella and 1 cheddar. We all agreed the mozzarella was the better option. Don't expect customer service here (not saying they are rude) it's purely transactional but they keep things moving so we were able to get a table cleaned up quite quickly after the customers left. Overall still a good place for quick breakfast and easy parking just outside.

Air conditioned prata place with multiple vegetarian options. Red Bean Prata - Smooth red bean paste in a crispy layer, similar to a Chinese style red bean pancake Meatless Magic Murtabak - Unlike the vegetarian versions at places like Gopal's & Gokul, this variety has thin and crispy crust. Filling was flavorful with a decent amount of heat. The Dhal curry that came with it was delicious and even more spicy Impossible Murtaburger no egg - This looks a lot more similar to a Murtabak. A lot of sweet cream sauce was inside. The sauce goes well when eating the sections with a good amount of impossible meat, but at sections where there isn't much of the impossible meat filling it made the dish too sweet which can be off putting for a savory dish

I did not take any photos of the food as I was already famished by the time I reach. Food is great as always. There was a mishap today. Different service crew came over and asked me if I was waiting for my red bean prata for take away. After more finishing my food and waiting for more than thirty minutes, I thought the service crew was kind enough to observe that I was finishing my meal before passing me my red bean pancake. In the end, one service crew came and insisted that she had passed me the red bean prata. I told her to check the CCTV then. Another service crew came, she apologised and told me that the prata will be handed to me shortly, which she did. It was a forty minutes wait. It was the same service crew that told me that I can try using my credit card as an atm when I dined in previously as I had been jogging in the morning and was holding onto only a credit card. This service crew is more able to handle stress under unforeseen circumstances.

What makes them stand out is that they have some special dishes (in a good way) which are also tasty! Umami50 has Chicken luncheon meat, chicken floss, Mozzarella and Jap mayo which turns out to be a delicious savory dish. Not greasy taste even till the end. Another which amazed us is the Okonomiyaki - with a twist of using the thosai batter as base, sliced turkey ham, shredded cabbage, lotsa bonito flakes on top of the mayo spread. Other usual favourite like Masala Thosai and pratas were made with nice crispy edges, not those very dough-y inside texture. Drinks were good and we had it less sweet. Was caught by surprised as I tot food would be normal so I didnt take all food photos like usual. Only a few to share. Will be happy to return here cos the staff were friendly and patient here. Cleaning and wiping soon after customers leave.
