Enjoyed some wonderful prata at Springleaf Prata Place over at Sunset Way courtesy of Lazada. Armed with 2 vouchers, 1 for 2xPlain Prata and 1 for 1xPlain Prata+1xEgg Prata bought on 2 different days of Flash Sale previously, dinner was settled. After one puts in the order at the cashier, one waits to be served at the table with the Prata. One then heads over to the curry station to be served the type of curry dipping sauce desired as well as the utensils. The prata here is crispy and pairs really well with their fish or chicken curry. For those who prefer fluffy prata, Springleaf is not the place for you. General Verdict: Prata place serving crispy prata in an air conditioned comfort Opening Hours: Daily 8am-12am except Tuesdays 8am-9pm Queue Situation: Generally no queue outside of lunchtime and dinnertime Payment Mode: Cash, Local Paynow by QR, or ShoppeePay (Singapore) Items Ordered: 1) Item: 1 x Plain Prata and 1 x Egg Prata - Served with Chicken Curry dipping sauce Description: Crispy prata that is normal at best Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG$3.60 (Free if caught on Lazada Flash Sale of SG$1 and then paid with the SG$1 Lazada Voucher) 2) Item: 2 x Plain Prata - Served with Fish Curry dipping sauce Description: Crispy prata that would pair better with Dhal Char Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG$2.40 (Free if caught on Lazada Flash Sale of SG$1 and then paid with the SG$1 Lazada Voucher)

Masala chicken is better than average Coin prata though crispy, were not served fresh/hot Price increased / adjusted for the 3rd time this year (at least that’s what I know of). Black menu shows FEB 2022 prices White menu shows RIGHTFUL current prices Receipt shows ACTUAL prices I paid (I only knew when I paid based on the RIGHTFUL prices, and was told to pay accordingly to the amount reflected on the POS machine instead). Would not return with the ridiculous overpriced basic SG meal. Yes the chicken was good, but not worth on my consumer perspective index / score

13/3/2022 dinner 6pm+ crispy, delicious prata! Slightly expensive, but reasonable considering the good service, clean tables, and air-conditioned restaurant. i ordered 1 kosong (plain), 1 coin prata (which is a set of 5 small thick, crispy prata that kids love), and 1 egg prata, along with a teh haliah. my friend their egg prata and kosong prata, and a strawberry lassi (yoghurt drink). the prata is very crispy and flaky, very yummy! (the cashier help us order extra crispy) the egg prata is about twice the size of the kosong, so the cost is worth it since it is very filling and fragrant. ($2.40 per egg prata). the kosong is $1.30, and you can see the prices from my receipt. the fish curry is yummy, strong spice and flavour. the staff are very friendly. The lady manning the cashier eagerly explains to us what some of the terms are and suggest drinks. She also willingly refilled our curry (2 times 😅) overall, it is worth the prize to eat there for good quality prata and service :) will go again!

Comparing to other branches, this is the most friendly staff and delicious food so far. Good safe distancing and controls. Ample seating area with indoor and outdoor. We love the Maggie goreng and prata very much. Suitable for families with kids and nice place to gather around. Parking within multistorey carpark and shirt walk. Not so near to MRT station.

Springleaf is a familiar name in the local prata scene, well known for its annual fusion creation - their Ultimate series. Tried the Murtaburger with double patty and Däs Prätwürst. The Murtaburger is like a big, fat, cheesy quesadilla. Quite good even without the curry. The Däs Prätwürst had a regular sized chicken sausage. I was expecting a bigger German styled sausage. There is a free flow of chicken & fish curry (self service).

Mee goreng portion is slightly more now and tastier than before..back then the portion was pathetic so much so it took me that long to visit again..I mean, I don't care about how much it cost for a meal, but it has to be a decent meal that'll fill your stomach..I'm not even talking about huge amount. Anyway, this time round, good meal 👍

If you crave for some prata in the west side, come to this popular indian restaurant. Freshly made onion prata & bee hoon goreng.

Service here is very good. Staffs are very helpful and very friendly. Despite many branches, they all maintain their consistencies and yumminess. We always come to eat their pratas. Always love their egg/cheese pratas. Generous with filling and prata very crispy. Beside pratas, other food is very good too. The kambing soup and maggi goreng were so enjoyable.

My go to place in the West when I craves for prata . Springleaf prata place at sunset way has both indoor and outdoor seating . We had the Mutton Briyani , Plain Prata and Ultimate Murtabak for sharing . The plain prata is really crispy and nice . The ultimate murtabak is big enough for two to three Pax sharing . It’s loaded with chunky tandoori chicken, portobello mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Very flavourful and nice ! It’s no wonder that they even got featured in the 2023 Michelin guide !

We were so pleased that we found this place! The prata is the best I've ever had, it's CRISPY. I couldn't get over how great the texture was. We enjoyed getting to ladle our own curry into our little bowls, chicken curry or fish curry, both were amazingly flavorful. The employees were super helpful. Good air conditioning, pleasant atmosphere, outdoor seating as well. We are full and happy!

Springleaf Prata is one of the more recognizable brands of Prata in Singapore with a few outlets spread across the city state. Price isn't that inflated despite being well-known and is comparable to the prices in some heartland coffeeshops. The thosai here is quite thin but big. You might need 2 to dab up all the tasty chutney and dhal. The chutney might seem watery but it's flavourful (and spicy) 2 Pappadums given with briyani, which is pretty moist and not dry. A packet of Pappadum can be bought separately at $1.20 (Oct 2023 price) if you want to snack on them. Free flow curry (help yourself). Chicken and fish curry both available. Toilets and wash basins available in-store.

One of the best Prata places I have been to. They serve a variety of Prata and Indian cuisine like biryani and gorengs! I got the Prata set with one egg, one plain Prata, chicken masala and large teh tarik for $8. Their pratas are so nicely cooked and they are crispy till the last bite! They also serve free flow fish and chicken curry ~ recently they serve their food with robots too! It was an interesting experience. Would definitely be back to try their butter chicken and biryani!

Very good food. Tasty with quality ingredients. My fave is their plaster blaster. Love the thick feeeflow chicken or fish curry sauce when you dine in.

The food is nice but it also depends on what you order. Prata is great and the thosais are really good. Also like the free helpings of fish and chicken curry for the guests. Nasi goreng is not that nice and kind of wet. The atmosphere is ok just too much advertising of the products. The old Chinese counter staff is not that friendly, border on kind of rude. Better switch to self service or robotics like how they did to serve food instead of an unfriendly staff.

26 Jan 2024:- second visit a week later as the curry is good and love the prata. Ordered the chicken masala and forgot to point out we wanted thigh and was served breast meat, surprisingly tender and finished all bits. So many style of Prata to choose here - I’d skip the coin Prata as imo it’s not chewy nor crispy due to its size. Staff were really nice to exchange a pack of papadum which was only just starting to loose its crisp. Aircon is good in this humid and hot weather. —— 21 Jan 2024: Love the self service fish and chicken curry , lamb shank briyani is good and favourite has to be the cheese plaster with my fish curry with some sugar. The meat of the fish head is a little too tough but the curry is very tasty!!

I love its prata creative fusion flavours inspired by different cultures AND NO GST NO SERVICE CHARGE!🥳 Beyond the delicious food offering, little did I know they are also strong social purpose at heart? Do you know? Springleaf Prata Place’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments include: 🤍 80% Dough Production by People with Disabilities (PWDs) Demonstrating their dedication to inclusion, 80% of their prata dough is crafted by individuals with disabilities, providing them with meaningful employment opportunities. 🤍 Inclusivity in Their Kitchen Reflecting their commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace, people with disabilities make up 40% of their kitchen’s total workforce. 🤍 Impactful Production Their dedicated PWD team crafts an astonishing 290,400 portions of prata dough monthly, underscoring their commitment to making a positive societal impact. While they are famous for prata, they also have a wide variety of non-prata dishes. 😋Plaster Blaster Prata topped with poached egg, ham and poured over with Hollandaise sauce or Indian sauce. A recreation of our familiar eggs benedict. The Plaster Blaster was super creamy, especially after breaking the egg, allowing the egg yolk to flow out. The prata exterior was super crisp and not thick or doughy at all. FUYOH it was super power. This was definitely one of the most outstanding pratas I’ve ever had! 😋Masala Chicken Briyani Hearty tasty Briyani rice with a tender and super flavourful masala chicken. Succulent tender. 😋 Curry Fish The curry gravy not overly hot but spicy enough and the thickness of the fish fillet stood up to the assertiveness of the gravy.

Despite the numerous prata hawkers and eateries in Singapore, I have yet to discover a place that rivals the creativity of Springleaf Prata. There are a plethora of options to choose from, apart from the usual plain and egg parts, there are also an extensive variety of creative prata dishes available for order on their menu (for example their Okonomiyaki prata, Prata Alfredo, Salted Egg Prawn Prata and so much more!), in addition to a diverse range of non-prata dishes. Not eating-fancy or anything too heavy in the evening, so only ordered their classic plain prata, Plaster prata, Kambing Soup, as well as butter chicken, and Teh Tarik. I like how Springleaf Prata Place offers free flow chicken and fish curry for curry lovers like me! Their Pratas never disappoint. Crispy, fluffy and flaky! Plaster prata was very nice with that slightly runny yoke. Kambing Soup was flavourful and meat was tender. I was kind of shock by the generous size of their delicious butter chicken. Service was quick and staffs were friendly. But what truly stands out about Springleaf Prata Place is their dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility, particularly their inclusive employment practices that welcome individuals with disabilities into the workforce. I didn't know that a remarkable 80% of the dough production at Springleaf Prata Place is carried out by People with Disabilities (PWDs), and has ensured that individuals with disabilities constitute 40% of their kitchen's overall workforce. Got to know that their dedicated PWD team crafts an impressive 290,400 portions of prata dough monthly. I am amazed by their impactful production! Very wholesome commitment to inclusivity, offering meaningful employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Well done Springleaf Prata Place! Would definitely come by again whenever I crave for some nice Indian food and show my support to their hardworking staffs.

We had the Goreng Set (Mee Goreng Set + Sunny Side Up - $10.20) Comes with 1 choice of Goreng, 1 Large Hot Teh Tarik and 1 Mini Masala or Curry Chicken - Maggi Goreng, - Mee Goreng, - Kuey Teow Goreng, - Mee Hoon Goreng, - Nasi Goreng We had Mee Goreng and topped up another $1 for a sunny-side-up egg. The curry chicken spice level was acceptable and we were served with a large chunk of chicken meat. While a good cup of Teh Tarik is made up of the right ratio of tea-to milk, I would say that they have it in the right proportion, striking a perfect balance between the robustness of the tea and the creaminess of the milk. Checking out their Ultimate Series in their Menu, we had the Mini Ultimate Murtabak for 1 pax. It was loaded with chunk tandoori chicken, portobello mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. What's more, with the free-flow self-service curry station, we can help ourselves with fish or chicken curry, which makes the entire session merrier. Mini Ultimate Murtabak (For 1 Pax) - $10 This is my first time having Barley in combination of lime and I find it quite special. We enjoyed the pearl barleys as well as the refreshing taste from the lime. While Springleaf Prata Place offers an extensive menu, especially with some specialty and Ultimate Series which are unique to me, it is definite that we will be back for more.

Pretty sure this place do not need any introduction but do you know their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? People with disabilities make up 40% of their kitchen's total workforce, reflecting their commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. A significant 80% of their prata dough is crafted by individuals with disabilities, providing meaningful employment opportunities! Their dedicated PWD team crafts an astonishing 290,400 prata dough monthly, underscoring their commitment to making a positive societal impact. I recommend having the following items for your visit: ⭐️Masala Thosai — Enjoyed the well-seasoned mashed potato generously stuffed within & the interesting and tasty condiments! ⭐️Butter Chicken — A large portion that's sufficient for at least 2 pax ⭐️Chicken Murtubak — Love the addition of onion here!! ⭐️Cheese Prata — Their prata are the less doughy kind; it's thin and crispy! ⭐️Teh Tarik — While not necessarily mind-blowing, it's certainly a good cup of teh tarik❤️ And don't forget the complimentary free-flow chicken and fish curry! Be sure to pay them a visit to show your support!
