Quite happy I finally got to try the famous Springleaf Prata, albeit at the Yishun Safra outlet. I ordered the Thosai and was happy with the prompt and pleasant service. Kudos to the staff. The Thosai taste and price:$2.30 was acceptable; but my husband found the dough recipe too sweet and not authentic. I found the Lassi drink at $4 quite pricey.(Too icy for my taste) The acoustics in the premises was bad: the surrounding chatter was amplified by the acoustics. But can't fault the staff for the environment. Happy though that there was a discount for Safra members. Ate quickly and left.

The lunch specials are quite a fair deal. The chicken in the biryani was good, although the rice wasn’t as fragrant or flavourful as it could be. The Prata Them All set was a hefty portion, as was the mini Ultimate Murtabak (can’t imagine what the regular size would be!). All considerably tasty and good value. However, what I recommend is the plain prata—crispy and delicious without being overly oily. Sometimes simplest is best. I accompanied it with curry mutton and seasonal vegetables from the à la carte menu, though I would try something else, as the mutton was chewy and the vegetables (eggplant) absorbed too much oil. Regardless, flavours were palatable. I had my first ever teh tarik, which was aromatic and sweetened just the right amount. Overall, a satisfactory meal. I’m glad to have found some good prata nearby. Next time, we will have to order conservatively because the food was heavy.

Really like their prata! We used safra voucher deal as now having promotion- 1 set prata plus teh tarik only 50 cents! (Valid for the month of June 2022) . On top of that we also ordered a chicken murtabak. Their murtabak is thin , didn't really have real chicken ingredients (too hungry so didn't manage to snap a photo). Hence I still prefer their prata 😆 I saw my next table having Maggie goreng and cheese prata (like very nice) shall order these items in my next visit. Staffs have great services and are patience too. Thank you! Will definitely be back

Pratas were served crispy but for some pratas there was something off about the texture - like it had been reheated / refried. Curry was nice but abit diluted compared to another branch that I visit, so it isn’t as shiok. Teh tarik is really nice here. Service is slow during weekends, waiting + queuing time >25mins as they have to cater for delivery orders and walk in orders. Prices also recently increased for some items on the menu by 50cents to a dollar based on a flyer I saw.

Not the original place but taste the same. Price of various pratas are ok, but specialty ones are quite ex. Their rice are quite tasty too. No windows in the place though, so it's quite stuffy.

As always, the best prata in Singapore in our opinion! 😋 Never fail to disappoint with their delicious and creative pratas! 😉 The must try would be the Plaster Blaster and also the Maggie Goreng 😍 Service staff were friendly and quick as well! There's limited seats, so be prepared to queue during peak hours! ⏱️ Overall, a delicious meal ☺️

Located inside SAFRA club on the ground floor. The staff was friendly and polite. Nice chatting with them. Wide variety of prata available. There are also various prata set to select from, including non-prata options. The drinks selections were quiet a lot, enjoyed the variety of drinks as well. The prata was nice and was quite crispy. There was also free curry to choose from- fish and chicken curry. Great options for breakfast. Do note that SAFRA members can enjoy 10% discount off their bills. You have to check to ensure that the discount has been given, because the staff may overlooked it.

I went there at about 9am on a weekday morning to have breakfast. Not much crowds at that time. Ordered their prata set (1 plain prata, 1 egg prata, 1 masala chicken and I drinks) at 8 dollars which I feel is worth it. It starts to get crowded around 12pm and the waiting them for the food is quite long as my friend went to order some other food for takaway. Try to avoid the lunch crowd and remember to show your safra member to get 10% discount off.

This outlet is located within SAFRA Yishun. It is on the first floor right beside the pool and you will pass it when you head towards the air rifle range. It is rather crowded on weekends and the place itself is not really big and can accommodate about 20 to 25 pax max. The food is quite OK. I had the prata and the ultimate prata. The prata was crispy and savoury. The ultimate prata has cheese and plenty of meat inside that makes it savoury and nice. However the fish curry (self service) was just standard and I was hoping that it was more spicy or has more kick. But that's just my opinion. There is a wide range in the menu so do take your pick. The system is done by getting your seat and then having one from your table to go to the ordering counter to order and pay for it. Then it is a matter of waiting for your food to be sent to your table. The drinks are standard fare but the teh tarik that I ordered tends to be on the sweet side. Price wise, it can be a bit on the steep side because of the air-conditioned setting but it is still affordable. There is a waiting time for your order as the place is rather busy especially with takeaway orders from Grab and such so you'll have to be patient. Have a good one!

Been here a few times as the plain prata is crispy and tastes really good. It’s even good when not eaten there on the spot. The egg cheese and onion prata is huge and hearty, but unfortunately quite oily. Best to have it with a big cup of Chinese tea to wash down the oil.

Prata was decent, ordered fried chicken Briyani ($8.60). Chicken was so dry and tasteless, rice was super dry and had very strong smell of masala and the cucumber was totally unacceptable. Was like soaked in the chilli liquid for a whole day outside. Gravy was not that great, could be better for sure.

There are many different types of Prata and their latest fusion creation of Okonomiyaki is worth a try. Very delicious and special.

Plain Prata Butter Chicken Springleaf Prata Place 📍 60 Yishun Ave 4, #01-07 SAFRA, Singapore 769027 🍜 Food wise: Good Springleaf prata as always, no matter the outlet, hot, crispy and delicious pratas, love it! The same goes for the self service curries, can’t beat that hot and aromatic curries, the fish curry is still the best for me though! This time round, one also ordered the butter chicken, although deep down one was expecting a tiny chicken with heavy sauces, but it was a big piece of chicken! Soft and tender insides and slightly tougher outsides, much like eating ayam penyet with fragrant thick gravy, full of spices and cardamom pods, so good! ✨ Ambience wise: Spacious restaurant! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Staff did their jobs. 💵 Price wise: Plain Prata $1.40 Butter Chicken $7.70 Summary: Recommended as always then!

Delicious prata and biryani! Their food is genuinely good and we like how Springleaf Prata Place is very inclusive in hiring PWD (People with Disabilities) for producing prata and working in the kitchen, on top of other roles. We surely support a brand with social purpose and responsibility like this.

My favourite prata in Singapore. A must-try is the Paper Prata—super crispy and fragrant. The Masala Chicken Biryani is delightful, with juicy and delicious chicken. Definitely will visit soon!

Also had their prata. Cheese and plain is crispy and nice. Curry fish Briyani at $7.90? Is pretty reasonable. Fish is tender. Chip is nice and crispy as well. Carpark at this Safra is super expensive. We stayed only probably an hour. But it cost $4.30 !

The kambing soup has 5 small pieces of mutton, size of 10 cents coin. As u can see from the video, it's has Zero viscosity. It's like instant noodles soup. Selling at $6. I suggest u buy instant noodles with the excess money, u can buy chicken rice. I only eat kosong prata

Ordered plain and egg prata. $1.40 + $2.50. Have to pay in cash. Got 50cents safra discount. Overall the crispiness is the GOAT. Curry wise it was luke warm. Would probably be more enjoyable if it was warmer. Egg prata is definitely superior to the plain. Might just give banana prata a shot next time. But seems a bit expansiive at $3.90.

Affordable and worth it if you have 3-4 pax so can share. Taste wise, you can tell how good a prata place is by its curry. As such, the one at rail mall or upper Thomson one taste way better, here one taste like water and the proportion seems off. Murtabak is nice, the fish of the curry fish briyani is nice, egg and cheese prata is nice. Teh tarik very nice as well. 10% discount if you serve army before. But no difference if you drive here because the parking price is the same as 10% of your meal ……
