My worst dining experience in singapore. Staff is very unattentive. A malay lady was at the counter and holding onto phone with a personal call. I was redeeming a samsung voucher which costs $8 and she charged me $10. And then they missed to add one item from the order. Fortunately I double checked my order due to the bad experience with the cashier. Tables are not attentively cleaned. Avoid at all cost.

I still remember the good old days when Popeyes was a treat. We used to drive all the way to Changi Airport just to have it because there were only one or two outlets back then. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, the service was good, and the quality was consistently excellent. Today, Popeyes is everywhere, but sadly the standards seem to have dropped. This review is for the Kallang Wave Mall outlet. We ordered a 5-piece chicken bucket and waited about 15 minutes. When we asked for chili sauce, we were simply told, “No more.” No apology, no explanation, no alternative. When we asked for tomato sauce, the staff just dumped a whole pile of sachets on the counter and told us to take them ourselves. That wasn’t service. The biggest disappointment was the coleslaw. At $3.90, it looked absolutely terrible—mushy, watery, and completely unappetizing. Honestly, it looked like leftover vegetables thrown into a cup. It certainly didn’t look fresh or worth paying for. The handwashing basin was another frustration. The sensor barely worked. Water would stop almost immediately, making it nearly impossible to wash your hands properly. It clearly needs maintenance. The entire operation also seemed very disorganized. The condiment counter wasn’t properly maintained, customers were standing around waiting, and food preparation was painfully slow. One customer had already been waiting before we ordered, was still waiting while we ate, and was still waiting after we had almost finished our meal. That says a lot about the kitchen’s efficiency. The chicken itself was still decent, but the overall experience—from the service to the cleanliness, maintenance, food presentation, and waiting time—was disappointing. Popeyes, many of us supported your brand from the very beginning because of the quality you once delivered. Please don’t let that reputation disappear. It’s time to tighten up operations and bring back the standards that made people love Popeyes in the first place.

Loving this Popeyes at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Kallang because of their immaculate vibes. Great atmosphere, chill setup, and the food hits even better when the place feels this comfortable. Definitely one of the nicer outlets to hang out at.

The fried chicken tasted good. However, the waiting time for the food was quite long even though the restaurant was not very crowded. We waited around 15 minutes and eventually had to walk over and ask the staff why it was taking so long. The staff were also not very friendly or cheerful. It would be better if they smiled more and showed a stronger service-minded attitude. As for the food, the fried chicken was delicious, but the fries with salted egg sauce had far too much sauce poured over them, making the fries soggy instead of crispy. The sauce was also overly sweet and difficult to enjoy. I would recommend using a smaller amount of sauce or serving it separately on the side.

Was a little slow but understood they were very overwhelm with dinner peak yet they served the food fresh! Until the last piece my chicken remains hot and juicy! The urgency they had to ensure food were served fast and correctly too was thumbs up! Kudos guys! Its not easy but we appreciate you!!!!!
