Something not nice and different about the biscuit. Fries and chicken are ok. My kids need to drink from a straw. I’m all for going with strawless and less plastic, but it doesn’t help those with small kids. Aunty at the counter just said no without reason, understanding or compassion when I asked for a cup cover and straw. Not helpful at all. And there are few to zero customers. Do your takeaways have no cup covers too?

It seems this Popeye's outlet shares the same space as Encik Tan? Had no issue with the staff at the counter. He was pleasant. However, it seems they've changed their biscuit recipe (according to the staff). Was quite surprised that the biscuit i was given was quite pale. My partner and i both agreed that the biscuit was awful and just tasted like baked flour. Won't be going to Popeye's for the whole meal again. Even the mashed potato tasted different, and not in a good way. The Pepsi Black was quite flat too. Only the chicken and chicken tenders were ok. 🙁

The sweet bread taste different, it’s harder than before. Stall is short of manpower during weekends. It is quite hard for them to issue food faster. I like the spicy chicken it taste nice. Overall, I’m happy to see Popeye set up a restaurant with other stall. The rental fee is crazily insane but in order to reach out to more customers, I think it is a smart move to combine food together. When kids choose to eat fried food then parents can eat other soup base food, it’s nice combination. Great!

The food took quite a while to be ready even though there seems to be many ready-fried chicken. The biscuit is very different from what I remembered or last ate years ago. We will probably just get their mashed potatoes next time since there are other better fried chicken options.

Service really is terrible. All chicken combos at ordering kiosks were closed so we asked the counter manager if they have chicken combos and if we can order from counter. He told us only can order from kiosks, so we have to show him the chicken combos were all closed. He told us to wait while he unlock the configuration through his laptop. After all the wait, he told us eventually to order from the counter since the update will take awhile. Total waste of time and lack of service. This shows the manager does not know all along the chicken combos were not available at ordering kiosks and he didnt know it.
