For this location, you kind of have to ignore the price cause it is a prime area and there are many tourists around. The food is around $1-2 more expensive than your local hawkers selling the same item. To be honest, the food here was surprisingly more delicious than my local hawker centers. I got the chicken cutlet fried rice with a very runny egg (top up $1) so I spent $6.80 with a portion that is actually quite generous. I'll definitely come here again on a non- peak hour as this place is usually packed with athletes from the Singapore sports hub.

My Kampung is a food court which I will visit in Kallang Wave Mall for affordable and decent food. There are many choices of food ranging from Chinese, Malay, Korean, Japanese, Western here. It's air-conditioned for the Indoor seats while the outdoor seats are also nice and cooling in the evening to sit while enjoying the moonlight. It is spacious and wide. Good for big and small group gatherings. Suitable for families with young kids as well.

I think the experience here when you visit on a day with event vs a day without event, will probably yield you different results. That said, I'll not come back anyways, unless I don't have a choice. Halal food court serving a wide range of options from rice to noodles. Food quality, specific to the Korean stall, is pathetic though. Like if I'm eating to live, this works. If I'm living to eat, this doesn't cut it at all. Even the instant noodles I cook at home tastes nicer than their Korean ramen here, sadly. There was a long queue for the chicken rice, but not sure if I'll ever return to try it. The space is sufficiently big, with many seats, which is great. Cleaners clean the place up as well, or you can always bring your trays to the cleanup point. Structure is there.

Pretty decent korean bbq at Kallang Wave Mall food court, had beef and chicken set each at $7.5. Beef was a tad too sweet for my liking, but the chicken tasted fine and was as spicy as it should be! Decent option if you'd like a no fuss meal before a concert! Might be a challenge to find seats for more than two pax if there is large crowd.

Another good fully halal food court. Clean & well maintained. Large enough that you don't have to wait for a table for too long.

Tried the Yong Tau Foo. Ordered the curry noodle. Average taste. The curry is a lil bland and thin. Nothing to shout about. The price is $9.20. The price is abit steep.

Ordered Ayam Panggang. Long wait. Chicken was hard. Crackers were stale. Taste so so. Wouldn’t go again. Old food court had more choice especially for NON MUSLIM. Not everyone likes Halal food. Especially lousy halal food.

Simple foods but of decent quantity and quality suitable for the local taste buds. prices are still affordable with decent food portions which allow a full meal and feeling full is essential in this time of increased GST and prices!

Good variety of halal food choices, korean, yong taufu, chicken rice, mala, satay, thai, etc. Reasonably price. A lot of seats. A great place for dinner on fri night with frens. No hurry. Many seats. 3 of us shared this bowl of mala $30ish. The gingko barley was also delish. Satay sauce was a bit different from the usual peanut sauce.

There’s not a lot of affordable food choices here apart from Encik Tan so My Kampung & Yew Kee basically has a monopoly. Their drinks stall just raised prices again this year and they honestly serve one of the lousier kopi / teh in SG. Seems like the only decent ones in the mall are at Fun Toast downstairs and Old Town. The mixed vegetable rice has a really good chef - I highly recommend coming here for lunch despite the long queue. Zichar stall and the Indonesian stall is good too; haven’t tried the other stalls much but the chicken rice is mediocre and the uncle is not friendly.

The Salad stall offers a healthier choice with their sweet potato yoghurt. But their menu pricing are on the steeper side. I’m also not impressed with the service staff as she’s usually grumpy and impatient. Not friendly at all. I’m willing to ignore those cons for the sake of healthier options but the basic food safety being the most important has to be maintained. Today I was shocked to find bits of “charcoal” inside the purple yoghurt , specially in the purple sweet potato. I have no idea what those black substance were but they were definitely not edible! OMG! I will never go back to that stall ever again.

Rude drink stall auntie! 😤 specifically ordered milo dinosaur, received iced milo nvm, i told her nicely “i ordered milo dinosaur” since i alr paid and afraid that they charged me more. She was so defensive and telling me “no u ordered ice milo! Where got milo dinosaur, u nvr say milo dinosaur” thn continued to ask colleague “she order iced milo right? Where got milo dinosaur” Auntie just gaslight me
