Ordered the trio meat set meal with a mac and cheese. It’s what’s you expect from pepper lunch meal, exciting to stir fry everything in front of you. Queue was slightly long due to SDM but the server was friendly and prompt in explaining how to order and the SDM in place. Made the whole dining experience quite enjoyable and smooth.

Its not bad, I like the open space. The staff was alright, typical pepper lunch service staff who don't really have smile on their faces. The restaurants is clean and I liked the food, that's why I'd return to the store and giving it 4 stars.

My favourite at Pepper Lunch is the Beef Pepper Rice 💯 I tried their latest Spicy Beef Tomato Risotto rice and it's yummy 👍 also ordered a side of chicken walnut salad.

Popular joint at JP. Recommend to arrive around 11plus to avoid lunch crowd. Due to social distancing, they will limit tables and it can be quite a wait. What to order? 1) Pasta - Beef Aglio Aglio 2) Salmon with rice 3)Mashed Potato 4)Miso Soup Students would definitely try the students' menu

Pepper lunch has quite average food but at a bit too high of a price. I got the beef aglio olio with mac and cheese as a side. The pasta, combined with the fats from the beef made the meal feel very oily and slightly sickening. I wouldn't recommend this combination. The mac and cheese was over cooked and quite mushy. The staff were friendly and service was good.

You get ur usual serving of pepper lunch here. Order at the counter and they will serve it to ur table once ur food is ready.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful service I received at from Steven. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. I can honestly say that this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, and I will definitely be recommending your restaurant to all of my friends and family. Thank you again for such a fantastic experience 😊

terrible service, never had a restaurant refuse a photo version of a student pass. im extremely appalled at this service, and i expected better. my friend who ordered before me had theirs accepted but not mine. perhaps the physical renovation was not sufficient. pepper lunch might have made it out of the food courts but along they way they forgot about their roots. disappointing.

Last came here about a year ago, usually very crowded so come early. Taste like any other pepper lunch outlet, solid, tasty and quick.

The food is flooded with oil. Terrible! The waiter just ignore our feedback, and the qrcode for feedback keep requesting for personal info only, but not allow to upload any photo.

Using the QR code to order online, and still having to walk to the counter to confirm your order is a hassle that is utterly pointless. Why would you pay and still need to confirm your order? If QR codes can be implemented, attaching table numbers to the QR codes should not be a high barrier to overcome. As of my visit, there is no difference to walking to the cashier and ordering your food there, that might even be more efficient than ordering online which is counterproductive and defeats the purpose of "removing the hassle of walking to the counter and making your order". Additionally, my friend who dined with me added on a supposed 50g of brocoli to her meal. The result was a measely pathetic 4 tiny pieces of brocoli. I know 50g is not much and perhaps inflation is taking its toil on the cost price, but to pay 50 cents for 4 tiny pieces of brocoli is pretty much daylight robbery. What made up for the experience were the kind and friendly waitresses that served my table. One that I spoke too seemed to be quite fearful of being scolded by the manager. If there is any possibility of the manager mistreating your staff, please do better. Your staff are humans too.

Standard remains consistently good even after many years. Clean and excellent customer svc. The cashiers, be it part timers or regular staffs are very helpful. Was checking if they recently changed their menu. She explained to us what are some of changes. Maybe this is the only time I’ll finish all the rice! 😆 be it beef, salmon, or chicken, scallops, it’s always good. Be sure to quickly “cook” it with their special butter once the food arrived! But if u re seated inside the restaurant area, where the cashier is located, rmb to spray the fabric mist on your way out. Cos you may smell alittle oily if you don’t.

28 Nov 23: 8.54pm I understand if it’s late and the restaurant does not want to accept walk ins anymore. The staff saw us waiting at the entrance and walked to check in with the manager in the kitchen - presumably if they should still accept walk ins. The entire group of 3-4 pax including manager and staff literally stood in the kitchen, discussed, turned back and looked at us, and then proceeded to go about their own thing, leaving us standing at the entrance. I guess the plan is to ignore us until we walk away 🥲

Very rude lady at the cash collecting counter today. I was speaking and asking in a nice tone and she was just being irritated and rude, even said “PLS CONFIRM YOUR CHOICE” And yes, I almost broke down coz I was so tired and it was so triggering coz she sounded like my oppressed ex-manager. Everyone’s tired. There’s no need to be rude. I was really this close to a break down in the restaurant. Also, food quality has gone down.

Their customer service is also good despite the long queue. The beef pepper rice and salmon pepper rice was awesome. First time trying this dish since it was made halal. The food was light and not heavy. Their yuze mousse was also nice not so sweet. Definitely a must try dish👍

Placed order and paid with their QR code provided. But still need to go cashier to scan QR code before they can confirm your order.... And when you reach the cashier still need to queue behind those customers that are ordering with the cashier. What is the point of providing this qr service?? So redundant......

Lady at the counter messed up our order and ended up making us wait from 1.40pm+ to 3pm+ for our food, when we asked about it, staff simply just took our receipt and we never got our food?? Later on we did get our food but not the add ons we paid for. We tried reaching out to the staff many times but they chose to ignore, is it because we are minors?? At least give us some compensation for our time that we wasted just because of the bad service. And they didn’t even apologize for the trouble at all, in fact they seem to believe we were lying to them about the fact that we already placed an order??

There's a very troublesome QR code system. I went with a friend and we ordered through QR but then we still had to queue at the cashier anyway to get the confirmation scanned??? then what is the point of having the QR code system? Implement to fix something that is not broken. very inefficient and frustrating.

They ran out of rice and did not tell us. They kept us waiting for 30 minutes. After repeated requests to give food faster, we asked for a refund and had time eat somewhere else. Very poor service. INFORM THE CUSTOMERS IF YOU RUN OUT OF INGREDIENTS. What is this service???
