Pepper lunch hot plate rice corn protein of your choice, beef or chicken best! There’s brown sauce too. Very comfort food. Now can scream cheese!

seriously. arrived at around 2:30pm to order lunch. cashier lady spoke with an impatient tone, including to the customers after me. but nvm. the real issue: paid $1.80 to add egg and cheese, but none added at all. staff preparing the food was using his phone with his gloved hand while preparing. super unhygienic, careless and waste of money.

Ordered Striploin Set, but the only taste that I got was from the MSG in the soup and sweetness from the rice. Make me suspect if my covid tastebuds is back. Meat has texture but no taste.

Service in term of explanation was good but my food came was 70% of the beef made up of fats. When I used PepperLunch’s feedback form (through scanning a QR code) to address the issue, the feedback form is designed in a biased way. It asked what I liked about Pepperlunch, listing food, service, etc. I didn’t like it and intended to honestly provide views for improvement. Instead, I could proceed to the next page unless I selected at least an item I liked. To my dismay, after selection, the next page thanked me for the feedback and I had no chance to express disappointment with the poor quality of GM food I was served. I looked at the table next to me and two other diners also had pepperlunch and they had beef with a large amount of fats too, but not as much as mine. I’ve always enjoyed pepperlunch meals but no longer due to the bias manner in its design to solicit feedback and the poor quality of food. Diners beware. There are better options out there.

Went for lunch on 18 Oct; after placing order went back to table & realised that there was no beeper given so went back to the stall and saw ppl who came later having their meals served. Enquired abt my order and was told by the cook that he sidelined my order as I was not there waiting for it. His tone was unfriendly and I highlighted that I was not told to wait there for the food. He was not apologetic but instead behaved in an unfriendly manner. Also was give 3 miserable pcs of French beans for topping up of this item. Overall find the staff unfriendly and high handed. Will not patronise again.
