I answered the feedback form in exchange of free side dishes and it redirected me here to Google reviews. I provided a google review but they did not give me free side dishes. They said they need to see an email. What email???? Your feedback form literally goes to Google Reviews.

Terribly inconsistent. Have ordered from them on 3 different occasions. Always the same thing, takeaway via the Koufu app. 1st time - there was no added egg even tho I added the option and paid an extra dollar. Shrugged it off since it was the first time. Also opted and paid for Double Meat but everything was mixed and mashed up so I couldn’t tell if it was really Double Meat. Food-wise, decent. 2nd time - they acknowledged my order and showed it would be ready in 28mins. But it was done in about 10mins, which was great. This time, my salmon and chicken were not mixed and mashed up, added egg was there too, in a bigger takeout box, totally different from my first order. Overall, good experience on my 2nd order. 3rd order today - stall acknowledged my order and said it’ll be ready in 28mins. After 40mins of waiting, the waiting time in Koufu app still shows 2mins. Got pissed off and went to the stall and asked the lady at the counter, she replied it was still cooking, had to unleash my Karen mode, gave her a few dirty looks and suddenly my order was ready in less than 5mins. This time it was mixed and mashed up again. I think I see the egg but it’s so mixed up I don’t even know if I’m getting what I paid for. Look, I understand that every order is cooked to order to ensure freshness and quality of the order but this is not it. If you’re short on manpower, then do something about it. If you’re unable to keep within the promised timeline and consistency of orders, at least have some way of notifying your patrons or allow them to cancel the order. The only good thing I have to say is that the quality of food and freshness has always been decent and is the only factor that kept me coming back despite the waste of my time and inconsistency of how my food was served to me.

i ordered the trio set, and the appearance of this is horrible compared to what is shown in the menu. i've ordered this a year ago and was disappointed by the ridiculous serving portion. ordered again thinking pepper lunch has raised its standards but no, the size was worse. i paid $11.50 and i barely got any meat. please raise ur standards and see if this plate even looks appetising to you. i'm paying $11 for practically just rice.

(i went on 18 october 2025) even though the food court here was fairly busy, the food was prepared nicely and served surprisingly fast, which made the whole visit smooth and convenient. this pepper lunch express at waterway point is a great option if you want something quick but still satisfying. i got the chicken pepper rice. the portion size was just nice, with enough chicken, rice, and corn to make it a complwte and filling meal. everything was well balanced, and it didn’t feel lacking in any way. what stood out most was that the food tasted just as good as any other pepper lunch outlet! the meat was tender, the seasoning of the black pepper was consistent, and the signature pepper lunch flavor was exactly what i expected. the rice sizzled nicely on the hot plate, and the garlic soy sauce i added blended well with the rest of the dish, making every bite flavorful. this is a dependable and enjoyable place to get a quick meal, especially if you’re craving pepper lunch while in waterway point. id definitely return the next time i want something tasty and convenient.

Ordered pepper steak and beef portion is pathetic for $13.90 paid. The beef is extremely tough not the usual cut at other outlets and full of unchewable fats. Will not patronise again and staff has bad attitude
