Located just beside Subway on L1 of AMK Hub, right behind the row of shops at the end of the interchange. The last I been here was many years ago. Taste-wise, don't rmb much difference. But was quite oil as I remembered it. Something new was the pasta menu which seems creative. The staff also help you to take the sauce separately. We used to have it by the table and can choose the condiments we want but I guess Covid :( Order at the counter before getting a seat for dining in. They will give you a pager and the staff serves it to you - no service charge. Food was also slightly salty as I had expected it. But once in a while right? It was nearing closing time but they were still serving customers - kudos for that. The staff had to go to each table to tell them that they are closing soon. I guess they want to go home on time. Who doesn't?

Can't really go wrong with pepper lunch. Tastes the same as always and really enjoy it once in awhile. Place can get a little noisy during peak meal times but overall still a pretty alright meal!

My first experience and awesome service staff. Food wise, good for non fuss lunch easy meals. Most importantly, they are fresh.

Service Was Quite Good. Just Find Tat The Table Was Too Cramped For 2 Pax. Ordered @ Counter And Food To Be Served Out To U By The Service Staff. Wider Variety Of Food Choices Compared To Food Court Stalls. And Taste Better Too IMO.

Really bad dining experience. Waited half an hour for my lunch to be served while others who arrived after me were either half way through their meals or already gone. I ordered a salmon set with added chicken and cheese but what was served to me really gave me a shock! A very small portion of salmon was given when in the picture it was supposed to be a full round of it. Nope, not even half of a round was served. What about the chicken? Only 3 tiny pieces for $1.50! I understand inflation is high now but for $15.70 this is really like a scam. PS: in the photo, they had already “added” more chicken after my complain. But still pathetic, isn’t it?

Waiting time expected during peak hours. Service got to improve, some unacceptable behaviour from the staff that were attending to us. For dining for 2 pax, given small table, very uncomfortable. Whereas we asked for a slightly bigger table as we were carrying bags and plastic bags, rude staff didn't bother, just pushed us to smaller table. This is really unpleasant. They should find ways to expand their premises and the table sitting arrangements. This was my 2nd time here btw, may never dine in here anymore. Pointless, there are other F&B outlets giving better service. Food is so and so, nothing fabulous actually. Too overrated, might as well eat at hawker centre. Overall, would recommend to eat once a year, that's enough for this kinds of service and food. Anything more, eat somewhere else. Don't get stuck in a cramped environment, with too much food odour lingering everywhere, making our clothes and bag stink of bad food odour and the service rendered...

Liked it alot! Portion might be small tho if you're getting the pepper rice. There's a qr on the table that shows you how to enjoy your meal. You pretty much stir it and add in the sauces and season to your taste. Easy and delicious. I think healthy too if you don't drown it with sauce. Got the meal where it comes with a drink and ice cream. Don't really like the ice cream. Would recommend and come again!

Came here to eat with my grandma, we both ordered for additional cheese for our meals. However when the food came to us, we were short 1 cheese, when i tried to ask the staff here that we were short of the cheese, they claimed that we were asking for more cheese and did not want to give us the food we paid for. Other wise food is good.

I have been in pepper lunch hougang mall which was too good in terms of taste and atmosphere. But this one I did not like the taste at all. It was to plain. Just white rice and some pieces of chicken. If you wanna try . Go for something which has some curry options.

Average experience. The atmosphere of the café was casual and unassuming, with simple decor and a mix of table and booth seating. The food was decent. I ordered the sizzling beef and salmon which came out hot and sizzling on the pan, as expected. The beef was nicely presentable. However, the customer service was mediocre. The waitstaff were friendly enough, but not particularly attentive and extremely occupied with their other errands. They took a while to take my order. The prices were also on the average side. Portions were decent and there was a good variety of options on the menu. Overall, while the meals wasn't bad, it wasn't outstanding either. The food was decent but not particularly memorable, and the service and atmosphere were also just average. I'd recommend it for a quick and casual meal, but there are probably better options out there.

Tried pepper lunch in few of the places, but I felt like this place did not serve enough quality or quantity over the price charged. I wanted to try the newly added one, Broccoli and Mushroom pepper rice but mushroom did not cook enough on the hot teppan (oyster mushroom are bit thick cut) so I did not enjoy it fully. On the other hand, my husband took Salmon and Chicken from the premium section with additional broccoli. He enjoyed it. We took soup of the day which was Mushroom soup, it was tasting okay, nothing great. It was bit cold though. Overall want to visit again and try out other things too at this outlet. Cheers :)

Pretty reasonable set prices here. The concept of cooking your own meals on the hotplates is quite interesting DIY. Basically add the sauces and stir everything well, making sure that the meats are thoroughly cooked. But this is also the downside. The seafood and chicken are cooked ok but the beef tends to go from raw to cooked to overcooked as you eat progressively and it turns rather tough. Just make sure you eat fast and should be fine I guess Oh everything has a peppery tinge which can be slightly spicy for kids. Sides of mashed potatoes and dessert of hagen daz ice cream not bad. Service is great and fast, commendable. Due to the hotplate the place can be smokey though so your clothes will smell abit. Overall not bad, can eat lah!

Great pepper lunch set meals with miso soup and mashed potatoes. The beef set is always very tasty as it is well seasoned and the perfect portion for one. The Japanese cheese and curry beef set is also another worth-it meal that is a must-try. It’s also very delicious but less seasoned because it comes with a bowl of curry and cheese to add more flavour. One note is you have to cook it fast or the meat will get overcooked and hard. Would recommend eating here for sure.

Have always avoided Pepper Lunch at the food courts, fearing the smell that lingers long after meal. Decided to try this stand-alone outlet with spacious interior and minimal fumes for lunch. Set lunches ain't too bad and satisfying. Great sauces at tables to spice up the meal.

Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant on 3rd April 2024. Unfortunately, my casual dining experience fell short of my expectations due to a significant oversight on behalf of your staff. Upon arriving at your establishment, my wife and I eagerly anticipated enjoying a meal at your restaurant. We made the dine-in order via the QR code scanning while queuing up, in order to help minimize everyone's wait time. However, our happiness quickly turned into frustration when we realized that our order had been overlooked entirely for up to 30 minutes. Despite patiently waiting for an extended period, our food never arrived at our table, and no member of your staff offered an explanation or an apology for the oversight. I only found out from other diners who also had missing orders, that this might be due to the QR ordering system having issues and not relaying the orders to kitchen. The duty manager was Hafizh (apologies if I misspelt) who did not offer our table any explanation or apology. to his credit, he did apologise to another table who also complained, and tried to walk around the restaurant checking for any other issues. This lack of acknowledgment and accountability for the mistake is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the level of customer service provided by your establishment, even for casual dining experiences. Pepper Lunch has a VERY positive reputation in the community so I urge you to take this matter seriously and implement measures to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future. This may include additional staff training, improved communication protocols, and a stronger emphasis on customer satisfaction. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
