Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience. The beef was well prepared, flavourful, and tender, making it one of the highlights of the meal. The food was also served relatively quickly, which was appreciated, especially during a busy period. The service was efficient throughout the visit. After we finished eating, the staff cleared our table promptly, helping to keep the dining area clean and comfortable. The staff members were friendly, polite, and approachable, making us feel welcome and ensuring that our needs were attended to without delay. Their positive attitude contributed to an enjoyable dining experience. However, there is one area that could be improved. The okra served was too fibrous and tough, making it difficult to chew and enjoy. As a result, it was not pleasant to eat and some of it had to be left unfinished. It would be much better if the okra were cooked until it became more tender while still retaining its freshness and flavour. Improving the texture of the vegetables would enhance the overall quality of the meal. Despite this issue, the good beef, efficient service, and friendly staff made the overall experience a positive one.

I have been a regular customer at Pepper Lunch and have always enjoyed the chicken pepper rice. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. When my meal was served today, I was shocked by the extremely small portion of meat. For a set meal priced at $18.80, the amount provided felt unreasonably small. This is not the first time I have experienced such inconsistency, which makes it even more disappointing. It honestly felt careless and not up to the standard I usually expect from this restaurant.

Me and my son always love pepper lunch because of the meat and rice on the hot plate! This outlet AMK hub is conveniently located but ventilation is really bad. Be prepared to smell smoky when you leave the restaurant. But in return, you get good food and service at your table!

Understand pictures in menu (this one from its website) are for illustration only. But the difference in the meat portion between picture and actual is too alarming! Beef pepper rice for $8+ and Jumbo Beef pepper rice for $11+. Shrinkflation is too real at Pepper Lunch. No longer value for money. And there was no soup also. On a positive note, AMK Hub outlet has high ceiling which allows for good ventilation amidst the sizzling hot plates around.

One of my favourite dining in fast food place. The food is so authentic and yummy. The place is quiet at 5pm. Good option for an early dinner.
