Came on a Friday afternoon around 4pm. Place was empty! But service was not compromised! Had a really good experience here despite having to find the place is a little bit too hidden. But food was very good and served hot. Staff was nice and friendly. Wiuld definitely dropby if around the area.

Good food. Ordered the tilapia here and it is delicious. The fish came is quite big and enough for 2 small eaters and definitely enough for one person. Its garnished with black sauce and have plenty of meat in it. Came together with lime and dark chili sauce. You can get free flow of soup as well. The soup taste quite pepper-ish. The tauhu telor taste great as well if taken together with sauces. It is quite big portioned and satisfying if taken with yellow rice. You can still get white steamed rice as well. Seats can be very limited during dining hours. Therefore can call to make bookings first if unsure.

Its not easy to access this restaurant, since it is located inside of SMU School of Law building. But thats what makes this place deserves tittle as "hidden gem" I guess 😁. Ayam Penyet President is not new on my bucket list. By far they have 8 branches alr as I know. And this outlet is the brand new one. Thats why the place still clean and look fresh. The food itself is always mouthwatering and delicious. Love the Grilled Milkfish and Beef Rendang the most! Can tell you that their Rendang is very authentic and the best Indonesian Food I ever tasted. Superrr!!! The serving time is quite quick. Just avoid to visit during Lunch time. Thats when this place will get sooo crowded sometimes.

Asked for a disposable plastic spoon but was rudely told by the manager to purchase something first. This was despite me being a regular customer. Terrible service with arrogant staff, come here if you want to be treated badly!
