I must say that I’m very surprised by the portion of the food. Just take the fish for example - it cost me SGD13++ via GrabFood and the portion is huge (and it arrived crispy and hot too!). The taste is good too - I like the sweet black sauce with a touch of onions and the chilli sauce that isn’t too spicy.

Good quality, tasty Ayam Penyet served in a fast food manner. Chicken is moist on the inside and crispy on the outside without being oily. Tempeh is crispy. Tofu is nice and soft on the inside. The portions are fairly generous too. Great place for a quick meal.

I previously ordered delivery from this restaurant and enjoyed the food, so I decided to dine in today. However, I found that the quality of the food for dine-in and delivery was about the same. I ordered the oxtail soup and fried chicken, and while they tasted okay, they were only warm. When I entered the restaurant, the waitress did not serve me and I had to find a table myself. I figured I need to order via a QR code and had the option to pay on our phone or at the counter before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude left something to be desired. This restaurant is popular for its food delivery service, and there were several delivery drivers coming in to collect food. One of the orders was not checked and ended up being picked up by the wrong driver. When the correct driver arrived, the staff refused to take responsibility for the mistake and make up for it, despite having plenty of food in the kitchen and not being busy with other orders. After witnessing the incident, I've decided that I will no longer order delivery from this restaurant. My decision is not only based on the impact it has on the delivery person, but also on the hungry customer who's waiting for their food.

I recently ordered delivery and was surprised it's from this same store which I dined in for first time in 2022. Surprised because the food portion and quality seemed bigger & better than dine in. After my first visit in store, I had decided I would not come back. Service attitude was lackadaisical at best, bordering rude. It's apparent the staff are not properly trained in food handling, either that, they couldn't care less. They were chatting among themselves more than paying attention to customers waiting to order. Were kind of rude even when taking orders

Overall food was okay but hygiene wise, I think that the staff has to go for proper training again. Since it is an open concept kitchen, we as customers will be able to see everything they are doing. Besides the main dishes, I ordered crackers for the sides. As I was seated bnear the kitchen, when i turned my head to look, I saw the lady using her bare hands to grab the crackers to place onto our serving boxes. Shouldn’t there be usage of a scoop or at the very least gloves? After serving us the food, the same lady went on to do scraping and massage on a guy in the kitchen with her hands. We have lost our appetite upon seeing her actions because we do not know what else was on her hand before handling our food. Staff in the kitchen was also shouting, laughing and talking very loudly which has also affected the whole dining experience. Hopefully the management can do something about it and improve both the service and hygiene standards. Update: seems like their own staff would leave review to increase their store rating here. would be nice if the management do something to solve the issue instead of the staff leaving “reviews” to increase their rating

Flavorful fall off the bone tender crispy fried chicken leg and awesome sambal chilli. Perfect combi. The chicken satay is very chunky, tender and moist. Gado gado was nice too. Lots of crispy belinjau crackers topping. Very generous portions for low prices. Friendly staff. Shiok.

Ayam Penyet President's ayam penyet is always a delight! The chicken is incredibly tender and generously flavored, especially with the extra spicy chili if you're a spice enthusiast. For those leaning towards sweetness, the ayam bakar or griller chicken is an excellent choice, accompanied by delectable tempe and tahu. The service is commendable, and there are no hassles with payment via PayWave. Highly recommended for a satisfying and flavorful Indonesian food dining experience.

Came at around 3.10pm. Nice and peaceful place during this time on a weekday. Ordered my usual ayam penyet with extra crumbs but this time when I requested for more crumbs I was asked to pay $1. Which I was fine with but was not pleased with the way the server talked to me. Raised her voice “tak boleh” and told me to order it through the cashier cause scanning the code is troublesome. Lady behind the cashier was superb & professional though. Gave me extra crumbs and said I didn’t have to pay. Food came pretty quick - in about 5 minutes after ordering. Was hot and crispy. Would definitely come here again if not for the server.

What a disgrace to call this chain ‘Indonesian food’. So many times we order because we live nearby and every single time it’s a disappointment - today takes the win with spoilt chicken meat sate 👍🏻 ayam bakar kecap cooked with no love, the chilli is just drowning in kecap sauce with no spice flavors. THIS IS NOT INDONESIAN FOOD!!!!!
