Affordable And Tasty Ayam Penyet! Quality is always consistent and the price point is just nice for the quality of food you get. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Service can be better, although its acceptable I think with the number of staff someone should be greeting customers waiting outside faster. To be fair, there’s a lot of takeaway pickup orders which might the reason for the slight lapse in service. Food came out pretty quick and the food as expected is yummy! Warning.. the chili is is super spicy.. although i love it! All in all, great place for ayam penyet and other Indonesian classic Indonesian dishes.

Gado gado was delicious I will give them that but satay was really weird. First, it took little to no time for the satay to arrive. I was impressed but turns out to be short lived. If you look really closely, they probably boiled or steamed the satay first so they could ensure that it’s cooked through thoroughly. But that just makes for a really weird texture and sensation. We decided to not eat after two sticks. Penyet was ok. Overall, experience was ruined by the satay.

Food was delicious, and served amazingly. The beef rendang is more to the spicy side though, but still delicious! We didn't order drinks though because they use plastic straws. 100% reccomend!

Ayam penyet here wasn’t too bad! I especially loved their chilli sauce - spicy, sedap and shiok (3S 🫡) Price was decent too, comparing to other food courts within malls that cost about the same price nowadays. The ayam penyet was surprisingly soft, easy to cut and munch! The seasoning isn’t as strong, so I do recommend eating it with the chilli. (They serve with a generous portion of chilli) Store had adequate space to fit around 20 people, since we came in a big group. Staff were nice to help combine tables upon request and made us settle in comfortably. Would come here again when we have ayam penyet feels!

Authentic Indonesian taste... The soup ekor, sambal ayam/ikan penyet make me feel like I am in Jakarta or Batam. Teh Sosro and Soda Gembira register your mind the true Indonesian beverages. Awesome!!!!

Surprise, surprise, we didn't expect much at all, thinking it was just another average restaurants, we were so delighted we had one of our most memorable dining experiences. The grilled chicken, satays, beef rendang, were cooked to perfection! This was the closest thing to eating in Jakarta. The price is reasonable too, this will be our favorite to eat when we crave Indonesian food.

Good food. Self serve soup. Good variety of options to choose from. Fairly good portion side. The grill beef feels quite dry for me but the rest was good. 🤷‍♂️ good serve fairly quickly. Have good seatings for group. Maybe just me but it’s was a bit warm inside the restaurant. Not a bad feed but I expected better? Reasonable price for the location.

The fried chicken and beef rendang were delicious ( with ooomph!). Gado gado was ok but the tahu telor can definitely be improved, perhaps because it was reheated and not freshly prepared.

Yummy Ayam Penyet and other Is Indonesian dishes at affordable prices. The chicken was succulent and crispy without being greasy. The accompanying tofu and tempeh were very good too. Tofu was soft on the inside and tempeh was crispy. The catfish was very generously sized. Overall, I would say the portions were generous. Only dish that was a a bit of a letdown was the kangkong which was a little soggy. Still, we will return for other dishes.

The aircon was not working well, the place we had was hot and stuffy. There was no staff around to take the order like the last time. Only realized that you now need to scan the QR code on the table. The order interface was really slow. It took 15-20 minutes from ordering to payment. It got me frustrated and ended up making payment at the counter. Probably my last time coming here even though food was good.

l I must say, this place is one of the best spots to savor a delicious plate of Ayam Penyet. I tend to opt for their BBQ chicken over the fried version, simply due to personal preference. While their service might come across as blunt, it's undeniably efficient. And let me tell you, their fried tofu is a must-try; it's a personal favorite of mine. The self-serving free flow of soup is a major plus. Price-wise, it's a bit on the higher side, typically exceeding $15. All in all, if you're in the area, it's definitely a great choice to relish some Ayam Penyet!

came by for dinner before catching the Singapore vs Thailand match. impressed with how fast their food was served to speed up turnover. loved the crisp of their fried chicken, as well as the spiciness of their sambal chilli. remember to help yourselves to the complimentary chicken soup too near the drinks counter, it's really tasty! 🍲

The Yellow Fragrant Rice with Fried Beef is a star dish, boasting tender beef cooked to perfection and served with fragrant yellow rice that tantalizes the taste buds with every bite. To complement the hearty meal, indulge in a refreshing Teh O Ice, a classic Indonesian iced tea that provides the perfect balance of sweetness and refreshment. And for dessert, don't miss out on the Es Campur, a delightful concoction of mixed fruits and jelly doused in sweet syrup and topped with crushed ice. The ambiance at Ayam Penyet President is welcoming and vibrant, with friendly staff adding to the overall dining experience.

Their chicken is very tender. The flavor is so good and unique. It's something you want to try again and again. It's spicy and actually affordable. It's our first meal there so it's nice that we did not eat something not so good because the chicken is very good.
