I decided to check out Urban Bird Hot Chicken at another location (2313 Edward St) and they did not disappoint! I went with my usual order, the BBQ Mac Urban Fries, extra BBQ sauce, and Cheeto dust half order and everything was just as flavorful and satisfying as I expected. The BBQ sauce with that Cheeto dust is definitely a combo I recommend! That's just me lol imma big boi at heart. The ambience was clean, casual, and welcoming, making it a great spot to grab a quick bite. Speaking of quick, my order was to go and the service was fast, efficient, and on point. I was in and out without sacrificing the quality of my food. One thing I REALLY appreciated was seeing all the employees wearing gloves while preparing the food. That was a huge plus for me. With everything going on in the world, seeing that level of attention to food handling and cleanliness definitely makes me feel more comfortable about where I'm eating. I hope they continue making that a standard! Overall, this location is off to a great start. Good food, quick service, clean environment, and employees who clearly care about proper food handling. Urban Bird, keep it up! Definitely making this a come back spot!

This was my first time here. I don’t typically leave reviews, but this food was so so delicious. The flavors just meshed so well together in the smash burger fries. And Angelica was just so sweet. She answered all my questions and was just such a friendly person overall. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger or chicken

Stopped by on a Friday evening around 9:30 pm and we were helped immediately and with kindness. The Buffalo Mac Fries were delicious! Just the right amount of spice, ranch, and cheesy flavor you expect from Mac and cheese. The only thing I’d change is the light sweetness of the fries.

Came here when visiting Houston after a baseball game. We needed a late night spot that wasn’t a chain we had at home. It took a little bit to get our food (ate in) but when we got it - AMAZING! I had the Tijuana fries, hubby had the Sando and son had regular strips and fries. 10/10 for food. Hot, crispy, pickles were also awesome and made in house.

This place used to be so good. I ordered from here at least once/week and never got tired of it. The chicken was juicy, the tenders were massive, the seasoning was flavorful but not overwhelming, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Unfortunately they changed the recipe and it sucks now. The tenders are about half the size but it seems like they fry them for the same amount of time so instead of being juicy, they’re hard and burnt. They also use the same amount of seasoning as before, so now the chicken tastes way too salty. I’m so sad, but the updates make the food disgusting. Sadly I won’t be patronizing anymore.
