### Urban Bird San Marcos Review I’ve been to several other Urban Bird locations, and unfortunately, this San Marcos location was by far the most disorganized and disappointing. The employees seemed tired and were constantly yawning, the tables were dirty, and the food tasted noticeably different and worse than what I’ve had at other Urban Bird locations. Even the fries seemed like they had a dark, almost burnt or blackened center. The only thing that remained consistent was the sauce, which tasted the same as at the other locations. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience compared with my previous visits to Urban Bird.

Never realized San Marcos had a location. Arrived to see the menu allowed a wide variety of options and hear levels. Since it was my first trip I decided not to try the top tier level so settled for a sando with 2nd hottest level. Man oh man was this sandwich built beautifully!! Could have taken a promo shot for advertising. Chicken was juicy and yes, the heat was there. Soon the back of my head was sweating. But not that it blurred the taste….hella good….which I believe is Kim to the heat level, hella hot. The fries were great with their dry dusting seasoning. I also elected the elotes!! On point too. Check the place out. Oh and shout out to Andrew. His help in ordering and service was top notch. Thanks Andrew

Urban Bird Hot Chicken really delivers if you’re looking for bold, crispy, halal comfort food. The tenders were excellent crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The chicken sandwich was even better, with the right balance of heat, sauce, and texture in every bite. It’s not just another chicken spot; the food actually stands out. Great option for anyone craving halal hot chicken done right.

Urban Hot Chicken was absolutely fantastic—everything we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. My wife and I definitely over-ordered, but honestly it just meant we got to enjoy it again for breakfast the next morning, and it was still just as good. Highly recommend if you’re craving bold, delicious comfort food!

Came from New Braunfels to give this chicken a try. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the buffalo Mac. Both were great choices. The cashier was sweet and the service was quick.
