I have never been so upset while trying to order food . I kindly asked the staff (older staff) which meat was cooked her reply was rude and unwelcoming. I explained to her that it was my first time ordering from them if she could show me the way. However, she got impatient and walked away. I have no idea why I deserve such service and treatment from anyone when I was being nice and polite with in the first place!

Dude, are you serious? My seaweed roll has many bones inside. If I eat faster, I probably need hospitalise now.

I had the Tom yummy and child’s play house maki rolls. It was relatively okay but I feel the ingredients are not as fresh as you would like them to be, for the unique rolls and diy maki options. I feel instead of SHREDDED cucumber or carrots they should have cucumber / carrot STICKS instead. The roll would be much fresher and not have a “watery” mushy feel. Bad tasting cucumber gives an off putting taste to the rolls. For others I would recommend go to Kuriya instead and get 2-3 boxes of maki / sushi and you would be more satisfied and full!

I just want to say that I am very very very disappointed with the standard of this outlet. The service was very horrible and I didn't receive the correct order. My son was the one that ordered 2 mega San and a salad bowl around 8.30, didn't know a small child will be treated differently. He did confirm that back to them that he ordered smoke salmon, but instead they gave him the salmon sashimi. They insisted that it was the correct order, which on the other side I'm not able to consume any raw meat. Due to my health condition. I know that when I bought it,it was near the closing hour, but the staff was rushing and crushed my sushi during the packaging of the following item, the fillings came out of the sushi when I double-checked my order. I am always satisfied with the sushi from maki San at the rest of the outlets, but I just don't know why this outlet doesn't meet the standard compared to the other outlets.

Extremely disappointing. I frequently order Makisan from different outlets and the portions and order is always right. But with the one at Tiong Bahru, so far ALL my orders ordered with Foodpanda either have the wrong ingredients, very little meat (it can literally fit 1 tablespoon) and garnishes, but a lot of salad for the Mega San Salad. I think there is a need for Makisan to check on the employees and also the portion given, because as compared to other outlets, this is really a huge disappointment, every time.

i ordered avocados and look how pathetic the portion they give. Honestly wont recommend this outlet cause of how stingy they are.

Just went there to get my lunch earlier and the staff, Fatimah, was really friendly and helpful. I asked if I could swap the white rice to brown rice for my Lucky Enoki Sushi order, and she helped me with it. The service was also prompt and the food (the soft-shell crab in particular) tasted great. The only place where I could customize my sushi roll with a healthy brown rice option and get great tasting snacks in one go! (not really healthy for the last part but tasty regardless)

Title: Disappointing Experience at Maki San Tiong Bahru Plaza Outlet I recently made a special trip from Alexandra to the Tiong Bahru Plaza outlet of Maki San, eager for some sushi satisfaction. Sadly, my anticipation quickly turned to disappointment. Despite craving the fish combo set, I was informed after paying via the kiosk that they had run out, with no prior indication or labeling. As someone who doesn't enjoy spicy options, I had to settle for the Kani set. This lack of communication and customer consideration was disheartening.
