Hi, We were utterly disappointed with the service experience today. We visited as a family and each ordered a drink. Towards the end of our visit, we politely asked if we could borrow a pair of scissors to open a snack for our child. We completely understand if the answer was no, and we fully respect your policies. However, being completely ignored felt unnecessary and discourteous. A simple polite refusal would have been appreciated. The treatment we received was disappointing and left a poor impression. We hope you will look into this matter and remind your staff that a little courtesy can go a long way. Thank you.

Not sure why review so bad. It’s actually quite decent food for an affordable price. Breakfast type of place.

Halal certified local and Thai style place. Thru out the years, food standards has indeed dropped. Open concept seating arrangements, neat clean and not very crowded. Local beverages like teh peng, Thai ice milk tea not bad. Would say pretty good. For food wise, used to love their chicken ham & cheese toast but no longer after quality has slipped. Beef noodles soup base decent but not outstanding yet. Add on achar was disappointing though. Chee kueh/yam cake sambal chilli nice enough to go with everything on the menu. To play safe their Kaya butter toast and egg still does the job. Servers are mostly Muslim and very friendly and polite. Prompt in serving or taking order. A convenience spot to go for, not a destination.

Normally when i order chee kueh, i will get 5 round pieces. How come tis time i got 2 whole pieces and 3 broken pieces? The broken pieces if put together, maybe can combine to become 1.5 pieces. So total i receive 3.5 pieces. What happen to my other 1.5pieces?

The preserved radish for the Chwee Kueh is unacceptable!!! Owner of Kaffe & Toast, I strongly suggest you taste it and see if they are correctly prepared. It tasted horrible!
