I am a regular customer of this neighbourhood coffee shop and usually come here for breakfast. On 17 July, between 6:30pm and 6:50pm, I visited for dinner for the first time, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the lady cashier, whom I later learned from the staff is the supervisor. My order was very simple—one chicken noodle. She asked whether I wanted soup or dry, and I replied "dry." She asked further if I wanted chili. I said, "Please put it aside," because I wanted to add it myself if needed. However, she entered the order as "less chili" and told the kitchen staff in Malay that my order was "less chili." When I heard that, I immediately clarified that I wanted no chili in the noodles, with the chili served separately. I even repeated, "No chili." She looked confused and seemed unsure how to correct the order. What surprised me most was that instead of simply acknowledging the clarification, she suddenly told me, "You don't need to shout." The problem is—I never shouted. I was only trying to make sure my order was correct after hearing her instruct the staff differently. I felt completely baffled by the accusation. From my perspective, it seemed she was not confident operating the cashier system and became frustrated when the order needed to be corrected. Unfortunately, that frustration was directed at me instead. I am writing this feedback not because of the food, but because I want to be fair to the rest of the staff. The other aunties and uncles working here may not speak fluent English, but they are always kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming. I have never had an issue with them. A supervisor should set the standard for customer service. Unfortunately, this supervisor came across as defensive, unwilling to listen, and lacking the patience expected in a customer-facing role. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and provide the necessary customer service training, as one unpleasant interaction can affect an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.⁸

Multiple visits here, highly recommended Recommended: 1) Beef deluxe (Tendon + Slice + Ball) with rice/ noodles (Beef balls with a good bite!). Beef tendon (no slice, ball) 2) Mee rebus with beef 3) Laksa with beef / Plain Laksa 4) Mee siam with beef *For non-beef lovers, the chicken rendang is good too. *Condiments! Chilli flakes with fish sauce (for the beef!) To try: Chicken rendang with rice (lots of redang gravy looks nice!) Don't recommend: 1) Signature Chicken Boat noodles 2) Yam cake (no chunky yam) Drinks: Kopi Kopi o kosong

We have ordered the beef tendon soup with rice from Grab quite frequently and have always enjoyed it. However, recently we noticed that the portion size appears to have been reduced significantly. We are very disappointed by this change and hope that management will look into the matter and We ordered beef tendon soup with rice from grab quite often and we notice the quantity shrunk. We are utterly disappointed and hope that the management will look into it and be fair to the consumers. If you need to raise the price, please do so but not by reducing the quantity. ensure fairness to customers. If rising costs make a price increase necessary, we would much prefer a reasonable adjustment in price rather than a reduction in quantity without notice. We value the quality of your food and hope you will take this feedback into consideration. Thank you.

Ordered chicken ball boat noodle at 8pm on 3 June 2026, requested for spicy version. The boat noodle was served without spiciness.

Been here many many years ago. Never get a chance to write review back then. Nice coffee and soon kueh. An additional point is they accept CDC vouchers. It is awesome. I can utilize my vouchers here. Nice and sweet cashier cum drink marker. She was alone needs to take orders and make drinks but she handled the crowd professionally..
