Tried their Singapore laksa n mee rebus, and my 1st thought, they don't know how to make them at all. Sugar must be cheap and they make them so sweet. Will not eat there again. Horrible!

First time trying coffee at Kaffe & Toast. I was quite excited to try this popular local coffee joint since I usually go for more "atas" coffee (aka Arabica beans) at renown cafes. I like the occasional Kopi C, if I'm unable to get a good cuppa Arabica beans, but I definitely like it sweetened, because Robusta beans are usually bitter and over roast. Anyhow, this being my first try of Kaffe & Toast, I really wanted to enjoy my Kopi C. Unfortunately, while the concoction was thick, the first mouthful was bitter, then left a sour aftertaste on my palate. I was quite surprised when the staff asked me, "with sugar?" before payment. No one bothered to ask me before, and my kopi C has always been served with evaporated milk and sugar. This is also why I love my arabica cuppa, because I drink it sugarless and sometimes, certain brews even leave a slightly sweet aftertaste. My Kopi C didn't taste sweetened at all and it really bothered me that my entire mouth felt bitter sour after each sip. Considering this cuppa cost me 2 bucks, about 70 cts more expensive than most coffee shops, it was quite disappointing.

Cashier was still ok, but the old man who was making the drink didn’t even know what drink to make, msg was not passed on clearly. Kaya butter bun is a total disaster, barely edible. Kopi (not Siew dai), was not sweet. The food is horrid overall.

I always come here for a good bowl of beef bowl noodles, sour, savory and abit spicy. Probably my favourite choice for beef boat noodles in Singapore and a great respite from other types of food available at the hospital. Only thing is that queues can be long and this entire place is not enclosed or air conditioned, can be quite hot during the day.

The food sometimes good, sometimes bad. Chee cheong fun at times not sure is it leftover, will have a flour taste but today I was surprised to served with what look like a freshly prepared one without any after taste Kopi uncle make the best tea and coffee, so explain the long queue in the morning rush hour
