Ordered the original at Fiie's cafe and 6 months on, trying this. Review compares both stalls to one another, and I must say off the bat this stall does have a slightly lower standard, still decent in its regard. Rice was (semi-) fragrant, felt like a chicken rice, yet wasn't that strong tasting enough that it felt close to white rice. It's a bit neither here nor there, kind of wasted. Chilli is the nasi lemak kind, sweet. Actually pairs really well with the rice. Chicken is amazing, meat was tender and skin was crispy. Only downside is that the cook on it wasnt perfect, some fat under the skin wasn't fully rendered (see pic). Added $1 for sides (4 sambal quail egg) I think its okay, definitely cheaper than the Orchard original. Overall it shares similar nodes of the delicious chicken rested on a plate of nice rice. Solid 4 stars, not perfect though. Not reaching original's standard. Soup was just a seasoning bomb, a bit disappointed that the soup portion is so small.

The chicken was left out for some time so when I ate, it was not hot. The taste is quite ok but if it's hot will be better. Personally think is just ok but the flakes add some texture to the dish. $6.50 for a plate

Came here due to the hype and it did not disappoint. Chicken tender and crispy, rice fluffy, soup flavourful(like mee soto) and the sambal although on the sweeter side is still very nice. Would come again!

The chilli seems to be of those for nasi lemak. I like it though. The rice a little lose out cause I find it a little wet. I find the chicken is really good, crispy and tender. However my friend says the meat could be better. The sides nothing spectacular. Put everything together, you got a plate of flavourful Nasi Ayam Goreng which taste quite well. The crew are very friendly. My verdict : can eat
