Bought a tub of rempeyek but the moment I opened it I could smell the strong rancid oil. It was not fresh though the expiry is in October. I could not eat as the aftertaste was very horrible. Bought it previously and it was tasty. Hope seller can contact me.

I’ve been reflecting on an experience I had here a while back. I used to be a regular, but my last bulk purchase of Bahulu went moldy within just a few days. Even though I stored them in a cool, dry kitchen cabinet, the owner insisted the fault was mine, simply because they didn't face the same issue with the stock in their shop. It was really disappointing to be dismissed like that - just because other customers didn't report it, or the shop environment is different, doesn't mean my experience wasn't valid. I ended up having to waste a lot of food and money since no refund or solution was offered. I truly enjoyed their kuih before this, so I hope they’ve since become more open to listening to customer feedback. 😔

Close too early at a time people just finish work and need to do grocery shopping. Lost opportunity to make more monies. Should open later, say 0930hrs and close later at 2130hrs
