Queued and got my food after 30 minutes of waiting during the lunch time rush. Would say the food is still overhyped but they are consisted with the recipe to when I tried it at lucky plaza. Customer service is also better here, where they treat you like a customer and not like an “idiot” given that the grumpy owner wasn’t around. Overall a pretty filling meal for $7.50 however chili and chicken I feel too much hype.

Been eating this 'brand' since the mom's OETI days and the elder son Lucky Plaza and sadly, this new store is a complete opposite. Take away the sign and any news of it and i probably wont even associate it to be linked in any way. I was 2nd in Q and Uncle was busy frying the chicken. Requested for a drum but the new staff gave a breast and i had to remind him. Not crunchy nor juicy, doesnt have the same (or near) fragrance of the fried chicken from Lucky Plaza at all. The chicken was totally bland and listless and quite a bad disappointment for me. Entire plate i had on this day was just different, maybe other days was better . Sorry but i think lots of improvement needed to make this better.

Newly opened Fiie's Cafe outlet at Blk 73 Toa Payoh Lor 4. $6 for dine-in, $1 more for begedil or quail eggs sambal. Takeaway add $0.30, extra chilli $0.50. Stars of dish are the crispy fried chicken and chilli, nice sweetness and slightly spicy. Soup heavy with pepper though. Opens at 10:30am, long queue on Sat morning by 11.

Very disappointed! Chicken cold ,dry & hard! The crumbs were so hard & not crispy at all !! Staff handle cash with oily gloves on!!!

Fried chicken was nicely fried - skin and the top layers of meat were nice and crispy. However, the deeper layers of the meat was not very well-marinated and the taste of blood was quite prominent. Queue is long and wait time was around 45mins (during lunch time).

Great crispy fried chicken!!😋😋QC standard checked. You can request the drumstick not to be cut so you can eat it using hand. It may get crowded during lunch time and hard to get seats.

Heard alot of negative stories about lucky plaza. So i gave a try at their second outlet. I really like their food. I have been ordering almost everyday. To me, the taste is delicious and highly recommended to buy food.

nice renovated coffeeshop. came by to try the chicken rice, which was the only stall with a queue at lunchtime. came abit early and there was a very short queue. the rice is so so good, chicken was crispy. chili could be a bit spicier. sides at $1, had the quail eggs and bergedil. ice lemon tea from the drink stall was good too :)

Still lacking the Omph from Lucky Plaza but good to see this improvment this round. However the Q system needs to be worked on. There is actually 2 lines, 1 for ordering and 1 for collection. Everyone auto goes to the collection line as THERE ISNT ANY INDICATION or signs to say so. around 5-6 pax, me inclusive were Q and then were told to go to the Ordering Line which is a little ridicuolous. Hang a sign pls or let people know about this.

chicken is well fried, skin is crispy meat remained juicy and tender. gotten the breast by chance and it was not dry at all, which was a pleasant surprise. rice is fragrant but slightly umushy, could be better. but was nicely elevated by the crispy bits. portion is reasonable and sambal is the sweet-friendlier kind so its nice as an entry to those just starting to take spice.

straight up what it says it is. fried chicken rice. legit, juicy fried chicken, super fragrant rice. two man operation, cashier handles the deep frying and the other handles the orders. long wait even if you go early but food is legit. longest line amongst the surrounding hawkers and kopitiams. ignore all these 1-3 star fools who get impatient waiting for good food then complaining about a simple dish. saw someone walking up asking for set b… the menu says signature nasi ayam with additional chicken, potato or quail egg. where you see set b?
