Long John Silver just launched new menu items under the theme ‘American classic Sub’. Tried both the bratwurst and the dory sandwich and added the bolognaise chips to go with them. They were average, the dory fish tasted like the usual Long John Silver’s fried fish. The mustard on the bratwurst was a little bit bitter for my tastes. The bolognaise chips get soggy and cold fast, but were rather tasty. Service is pleasant and quick.

Ordered a chicken bacon sandwich. But the staff gave a Texas chicken sandwich instead, saying that they swapped it cos don't have stock. I accepted, cos what is one to do when the staff already decided the replacement instead of asking your customers? Breakfast toast was dry, have had better at other branches.

Laksa wrap was the most disappointing meal I ever paid for at LJS. Just one small piece of fish being used for the wrap. Nothing extraordinary. For the price of the wrap I would rather order their dory fish and clam chowder set.

Surprisingly great improvement when i tried it again last week. Ordered takeaway for fish and chicken set. The fish was humongous! I believe the team can still improve on the taste of the batter, but the quality of the fish has significantly increased from the last time i visited. Fries can be more crispy but still good. Keep up and continue improving your products.

First round of eggs was raw, exchange for another round which 1 egg still raw. Porridge was doused with excessive shallots, and still tasted bland. The coffee is the worst I ever tasted. Terrible breakfast, will not try again. Deserving of 0 star if I had my way.

LJS is located at Level4 Tampines Mall Last had LJS was 9 months ago. Ordered chicken salad and a soup ! food wise is ok but staff forgot to give salad dressing to me😂 Salad is fresh and tasty and this is kind of healthy eating!

The newly renovated Ling John Silver’s finally added the self-service kiosk. So it’s much easier to pay by or cashless option. The side salad that comes with the meal has a big portion and worth the money. The crumbs are as good as always.

Newly introduced sharing set for national Day! Comes with 2 drinks, fish, chicken, cheesesticks, patato, and lady fingers, as well as 3 different sauces. Not too bad for a breaktime fingerfood sharing.

Having been with Long John for 40 years, it is getting better, I must say. However, like many industries, the SOP seems hard to implement. What's been pictured might post hygiene issues.

Different long John silver outlets have different standard. First time when I visited LJS in Tampines Mall I ordered a golden deal that comes with Alaska Fish & Chicken. The flour coated on the fish and chicken were too thick that you will do not have the crunchy crispy bite. This 2nd time I tried again, the coated layer is crispy but it’s very salty. Every bite I eat I feel like swallowing a small tea spoon of salt. Overall I will still be back because LJS is my favourite fast food. They have new promotion as well. Price and food is reasonable and nice.

Plenty of dine in customers waiting more than 20 minutes including myself at 11am. Priority seem to be given to delivery orders. Mostly old folks who have to stand and wait very long which is quite poor thing because they used the big sitting area beside the counter to put stock.

On 21st Dec, I was made to wait from 11:01am to 11:39am. The food I received ended up being kind of cold. There was only one poor staff sorting out all the orders on her own and I refuse to blame her at all, in fact I pity how she had to work that hard trying to get dine in, take away and food delivery orders all on her own. Couldn't someone at the kitchen step up temporarily and get orders sorted out? I've given 2 stars instead of 1 just to credit the poor staff who was left alone to deal with orders way beyond her limits allowed, causing all foods to become cold. I would have given a 3 or even 4 stars if they managed to respond on time, as per their 2 to 3 working days response time promise on their website. They failed to respond to me at all. Beware of the waiting time, if you're ordering.

Update: Came today again. Fries over cooked. Fish is DAMN Oily and not crispy at all. Fish is really small. Imagine fish and chicken is the same size.
