Quiet, chill and brightly lit ambience with warm lights and air conditioned. Great place to hang without much worry about chasing u out because safra Punggol is quite deserted anyway. Laksa was standard and done well - spicy level is there though slightly on the salty side. Good place to hang out with friends and family

Really good traditional coffee and Toast here! Nice chill ambiance to sit inside and relax after visiting SAFRA Punggol. PS it gets quite crowded during the weekends (Same goes for all the shops at SAFRA Punggol, so take note!)

A place that brings back nostalgia. The service from the staff like Ms. Wai Sim with her genuine concern for her customers. I was so impressed with Wai Sim service who makes the whole atmosphere so cordial and homely. Gives you a Kampong (Singapore Malay Village where villagers genuinely cares for one another) feel. Probably that's what brought so many customer to this humble shop. And what impressed me was that during the dining experience there were power trips several times which tripped the aircon and all the lights. Even though the shop was stuff and warm without the aircon and dark without the lights. What amazes me was that none of the customers left. All of them choose to stay back and none even complained of the power trip. This response from the customers speaks volumes. The staff Ms Wai Sim has to singlehandedly take on so many roles from being the cashier who takes your orders to payment and even preparing the drinks and food and serving you. And even with the power trip she has to get the power back on. One lady working 5 men's job. I wish she would have her pay raise and promotion. It's such a far cry from the nearby Jack's Place new manager Ben Kok. No wonder customers flock from Jack's Place to this humble eatery.

I like the interior and layout of the cafe as it has indoor and outdoor seatings. Outdoor seatings is pretty chill, quite a nice place to hang out. However, I will down rate this cafe as the food is underwhelming. Display menu of the beef rice looks amazing but the amount of beef given is so pathetic. I'm paying over $10+ for the set that only has 3 pieces of beef.

Staff were extremely impolite. First thing they said was that they didn't have food which was understandable probably because they were closing at 6pm and I came at 5.15pm. No compassion for a heavily pregnant lady. Once my drink was ready, no one called to inform me to take my drink from the counter. The cafe was not even crowded. There was only a couple seated apart from me. Very bad service.

[Jul 2023] Good spot to have an affordable light meal with aircon, after a walk at the pcn nearby. Drinks are of generous portion, compared to other similar local coffee places. Enjoyed the food and friendly service.

Comfort kopi refuel for the day. May be hard to get seats at peak hour. Indoor have aircon and near emart and safra gym

One staff running the cafe in the morning, tough on her, but she carried out her duties at her best , hope the management appreciate her. Food was good and didn't had to wait long for the food [the wait was at counter but is all right, can see her rushing to make all customers orders]

The cashier not in good attitude when taking order, especially when I repeat I wanted to take away when she give me dine in cups, she blame me and said that I dint mentioned it when ordering. Ordered 3 sets (2 toast set & 1 congee set) they put in all individually with plastic hanger, the only plastic bag given is too small until not able to ‘squeeze’ in the congee container + 2 toast bag. I dint get my youtiao for the congee and only realised after reached home. Toasts is okie but the congee n drinks I think the previous outlet at WWP is much better.. so disappointed and spoiled my Sunday morning mood.. dun think I will return to this outlet

Foods are decent. Service is ok. Maybe as we didn’t see many people during lunch time weekends. Prices is a bit on a high side maybe because it’s in SAFRA Punggol? Next door is Mac which is very spacious and lots of people, family with kids!

Service was very very bad. First time trying this outlet, we were just asking what proper meal you have at this timing (early in the morning), the male staff replied in a very unfriendly & inpatient tone “you ownself see Ah!!” The face also CMI!! Like not willing to serve kinda face. Pls if you don’t feel like working don’t work, stay at home better. We were sitting outside, the order number was not shown, probably they forgot to turn on. Hence we were not informed that our order was ready, order made wrongly somemore…. Heavenly Wang, Please train your staff and make sure they can really work.

Came today on Christmas Eve at 10am. Place was clean and well maintained. Tables were wiped. Cashier and service crew were friendly and fast. Toast was fresh and coffee/tea tasted great. One of the better outlets!

Bad: Teh has more milk than tea, and this is after two visits. Other outlets make better tea. The tea master needs training or else please use machine instead for consistency. The eggs still has faeces and this is unhygienic. Good: toast tastes as good as other outlets.

Wanted to purchase food and drinks at the Safra Punggol outlet and the cashier lady said they’re closed at 5.30pm Such a disappointment.

Very bad experience at this brance on the service staff Khxxxxx at 11+ today as she was very rude as we order take away and say it clearly and also the cashier machine also mentioned take away but she was rude and pull a black face accusing the customers why did not say so. After that she banged the take away cups on the table very madly to give it to us. I have never experience this in all the branches be it rivervale plaza or sengkang grandmall where they have good service. It's ok to make mistake but don't throw the temper at the customer. We did not really persue the incident further as there is some que behind us.

[Apr 2024] For me to put in effort to write this 1 star review explains alot. Visited their outlet this morning to get takeaway toast sets for my wife and I. At the point of order there was no mention that a plastic bag will cost me 10 cents. It was assumed, as with other F&B estab, that if you take away and there's additional costs, you will be notified upfront. After collecting my food (merely a drink, egg, and toast - these are small items which will be a handful), I requested for a plastic bag and was informed of this 'not too smart' of an initiative. I took my items by hand bcz i didnt have any cash on me and one of my eggs dropped as I was walking to the cp. And when reaching home i realised that they missed a set of toast. Utterly disappointed with this estab. Shall patronise their competitors henceforth - not worth spending money on.
