Good service from Ryan today. I spoke with him to give constructive feedback about the meal i had, just to highlight a problem so that next time it could be improved on. I was not expecting any service recovery at all. However Ryan was quick to acknowledge the issue and went the extra mile with his sense of responsibility. Hard to find employees at service front that are empathetic and virtuous.

I’m sharing this particular incident in Thomson Plaza where I ordered a curry puff set and asked for it to be heated up. The cashier promptly told me that it was already heated. I doubted so as it was from the glass casing but didn’t want to start my breakfast upset. As expected it was cold. Just hate to be right.

Soft boiled egg or?? This is the third time within a month. Kaya butter toast. Not standard at all. Some so thick some so thin. No improvement. Speechless

Coffee started using machine, lost that fragrance and freshness. Coffee tastes a bit sour. I won't recommend if you crave for good coffee. Eggs still good but cold. Staff is not checking the quality of their products. You buy at your own risk. 🙂

You tiao set was served well. However, I agreed some of the reviews here , toast served with unhot. Overall, normal loh 😏

Hopelessly waited 15mins for the butter to melt. Toast is very dry and crispy but cold so that does little to help with melting the cold hard butter slabs. Why on earth Wangz Cafe think this is the kaya butter toast that their patrons would enjoy. Feeling nauseous now after having just a piece. Don't want to waste food but this is really inedible.

Like it here as they offer hot food, pastries, and local beverages. They also have interesting cold brew artisan tea in bottles. Lots of seats. Teh and kopi are quite consistent.

Always love to la kopi & teh! So the drinks are really nice and worth the price. however the staffs have strange social distancing behaviour for the customer, on the seating arrangement. Don’t really understand the rationale but just cooperated. The staffs just trying to do their best to prevent us contact with another customer. Probably just need to advise them to talk nicely will do :)

Good place to grab a quick breakfast as the place is generally not crowded early in the morning. Over the years, their menu have improved. The latest change noticed is their toast texture quality gotten better. The soft boiled eggs comes overcooked sometimes and I would ask for a new one. The staff don't smile at all, don't expect good customer service.

While preparing my food, the foodhandler she go and touch the cleaning cloth which make me so boil about it. When I ask her to recook again, she said I also cook for another like this. Although she recooked my food, but I still really no appetite to eat. I will inform to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). TAKE CARE AH WANG@ THOMAS PLAZA.

Really need to be consistent with their coffee. Some days taste diluted, some days too sweet (without asking for less sugar or more) Always skip their ice coffee as it is basically coffee flavored water.

Service was wanting and empathy lacking. Understand F&B is a tough gig though sadly the service and some remarks made the experience a forgettable one ruined the holiday atmosphere. Hope the management can support the staff more.

Came during CNY to just get a takeaway coffee, the staff keyed in large coffee and CNY surcharge of $0.50, I checked if I can change it to the regular sized coffee, however the staff at the counter said it’s YOUR new year so for you only L side. I find this unreasonable and sounds racist. 1. If there are any surcharges, please be transparent and put a notice somewhere. 2. Train your staff to be more respectful when sharing this kind of info to customers. I’m sure there’s a nicer and more professional way to say it.

What a shame! The mee siam used to be good. Today, the gravy is diluted and tasteless. Not a wise way to combat high cost of business. It is already not the most economical mee siam but it wasn't too bad in terms of taste so I have been eating it for the convenient location when I run my errands st Thomson Plaza. Gosh. Will give it a miss next time. Hope the business finds a better way to deal with the increase in cost of business instead of cutting corners like this. Food handler not in good mood today. Maybe too short handed as cafe is packed today.
