My wife and I recently visited Urban Chicken for the second time. Our first experience was excellent—great food, friendly staff, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. Because of that positive experience, we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, our second visit was very disappointing. After receiving our drinks, we went to get unsweetened tea from the fountain. We noticed a thick, mucus-like substance hanging from the nozzle. I pulled it out and showed it to an employee because it was clearly something that should not have been there. While I don't know exactly what it was, it was unpleasant and concerning to see. The employee simply said, "Thank you, I'll look into it." There was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. Since I no longer felt comfortable drinking the tea, I got a Coke Zero instead. My wife, who is pregnant, took a sip and immediately said it tasted strange. I tried it myself, and it had an unpleasant taste that reminded me of mold. I cannot say for certain what caused the taste, but it was bad enough that neither of us wanted to drink it. When I informed the staff, I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously. Again, there was no apology and no effort to address the situation or make things right. What made this even more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't busy at the time, so it wasn't a matter of staff being overwhelmed. Everyone can have an off day, but what stood out most was the lack of concern after we raised legitimate issues with the drink station. Based on how great our first visit was, this experience was a major disappointment.

I love this place. The customer service is amazing and the food is even better! My favorite flavor of chicken has to be the lemon pepper. I only wish there was a closer location to me. LOL

portions are very generous for the price. and the heavy flavor all compliment each other well. this is my second time eating at the establishment. The location is a true hit and well worth the time and money.

Update: Feb 14, 2026 I usually come here to get chicken for my family. Today I came here to pickup an order I made online. I paid extra for a large fries but the portion that came with the meal was even smaller than a regular portion. This has been happening for a while now even though I usually don't post publicly about these sorts of things. When this picture was taken my family only ate 3 fries before I was able to snap a picture. Yes I got a discount, but that was cause I used points I earned on previous orders. That is no way an excuse for them to give me less than a regular portion though. Original review: This is great new place that opens late. Came here looking for fresh chicken and that's what I got. It took a little bit of extra time but it was worth it. The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty. They have many different spice levels to fit the whole family. Their fries are delicious and full of flavor. Would definitely come here on a Sunday or any day we're craving chicken.

Amazing food and even better service. The quality of the chicken here is top-tier perfectly fried and not overly greasy, the portions are huge and their 'Mild' is closer to a 'Hot'. I ordered the Nashville Hot and even though I love spicy food, it definitely caught me off guard! It was a little too much 😣 But the waffles were a sweet touch to the spicy flavor. Everything from the pickles to the sauce was 10/10.
