Tried out Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang. They have over 25 locations. No wait on a weekday during lunch time. This branch is inside of Lau Pa Sat. - Nasi lemak ayam bakar taliwang ($9.20 SGD) - chicken thigh was a touch dry. The famous taliwang sauce was decent but unmemorable. Plenty of rice, peanuts and sardine

I have order Nasi Lemak chilie hijau. The taste is moderate only. The chicken is grilled but I think its not grill well. The chillie hijau is not fresh.

Ordered #4 which was the chicken with the green chili. It was spicy but bearable. Was surprised how big the chicken quarter was. A definite place to try again!

Easily the best Malay dining experience we’ve had in Singapore so far. As a Hong Kong tourist, I tried to order in my basic Bahasa Melayu skills, and it worked! The hospitality here is truly top-tier. We spent the meal exchanging stories and sharing our cultures; and the chicken fillet rice is definitely authentic and palatable. The meal is a bit spicy, but overall it’s perfectly seasoned and affordable. A must-visit for the food and the people alike in Lau Pa Sat. Terima kasih banyak-banyak!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really good Nasi lemak where the sauce isn’t just sweet, it’s also quite spicy. The chicken is nice and crispy and tender. No complaints. Would come here again for sure. It was about 8.50SGD for #1 ayam. So reasonably priced for Singapore.
