Terrible service from the counter staff! Snatch item from my hand and talk to me like I owed my life to her! Will certainly not patron this outlet anymore

Wide variety of buns here. Since it is CNY season, there are many cookies to choose from. The pandan cake, 6 dollars, is light and quite good for in between meals. Potato curry and curry naan has plenty of filling too. Won't disappoint! The chocolate rice donut is a bit too sweet and a bit oily. The chicken char siew bun and egg tarts were favoured by my friend and not too cloying sweet. Look out for the Buttercream chocolate $2.20. Tasty!

Buy this tuna bread at DJ bakery 17/1/26 night, I found a sharp, hard piece of plastic inside the bread. It was meant for a child, thankfully my child didn't eat it, otherwise the consequences could have been disastrous.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Basing my review off 1) comparison of value. I usually get my breads from another bakery in the Bishan area. My personal experience is that the bread here is of lower price and equal or higher value than the bakery I purchase from in Bishan. Specifically I have frequently bought the rainbow doughnut, the large french loaf, and on occasion, their spider web bun, floss bun, sausage bun 2) customer service. The cashiers aren't all the same in terms of smileyness or friendliness, some are more friendly or smiley than others, but I'm not greatly impacted by this. I appreciate that they have been polite to me and my experience has been more pleasant than not. 3) thoughtfulness. There is another reviewer here who complained about the double bagging of waffle. I'm the complete opposite I love the double bagging. For anyone who frequently eats waffles like me (1) the waffle should be eaten while it is still quite hot for it to be most enjoyable (2) if the waffle is hot, any inner filling will likely be melty/soft and will flow (3) if the waffle is held vertically, it will surely drip or flow out and that can get messy or dirty. DJ Bakery is the first bakery that double bags my waffle to help me contain the mess and keep myself clean! Most of the time the bakeries just throw it into a paper bag and then a plastic bag and I find I have to navigate the messiness by eating the waffle horizontally so that there will be minimal dripping, some of you may be able to imagine what I am talking about. Usually the paper bag will be soaked with whatever filling I'm having and I don't enjoy that process. So I was extremely grateful to find this waffle eating experience so much cleaner. The two areas for improvement for DJ Bakery would be one, the quality of the butter they use for the waffle and two, that I didn't see any pricing for the waffle so that seems like a lack of transparency but that can easily be solved. Overall I really like DJ Bakery and will continue to patronise them and whenever I'm in the vicinity I'm always tempted to buy the rainbow doughnut!! And now the waffle!! ❣️

Gotten a very beautiful cake for birthday celebrate but seriously disappointed with the tasteless chocolate sponge and horrible buttery cream which totally make me wanted to discard the cake after the first taste with my love one. Buying their cake is a great mistake but bread is still good.
