I am a regular who only buy from Kovan DJ bakery, telling my friends and neighbors that the curry chicken n tuna buns are a little pricey but lots of filling. But recently we realize that the filling is miserably lesser but the price remains the same. Very disappointing, if they don’t improve, we will have to buy from other bakery and pay less for the buns. Not sure about other outlets but this feed back is about Kovan outlet.

Poor service. I bought a box of bahulu which has relatively big box and a donut. The cashier packed in a small plastic bag which has such little spacing to carry the bag and I do not wish to crush my donut which was on the top . I took the items out and requested for a bigger bag and was told by a tall lady that I need to pay $.10 for it.. surprised! If I opt for no bags, will u deduct $.10??? I don't understand what kind of service this is. Why do you have to make things difficult when my request is legitimate and I am not asking for extra bag but just a correct bag.

I am one of the regular customer at Kovan and Serangoon Ave 3 outlet. I must say that their breads are soft, and I love it (used to be). I do not mind paying more for the buns even the price keeps increasing, as it is delicious (in the past). They are dishonest for selling bread that is not fresh, so far I have encountered 4 times, it is silly for doing so, as customer will not patronize. Last night I have purchased the 4 red bean breads in a pack, price is $2.70, they were dry, even the red bean is dry. By the way, the curry bread I use to purchase, ingredients is lesser and lesser these days. I called them today to inform them that I am not asking for refund, but they should not be dishonest for selling bread that is not fresh. The Manager denied, and I told her I am the last few customers last night, there were many packets left, I told her to try it.

Decent neighbourhood bakery, nothing really special here though they do sell quite a large variety of CNY goodies during the festive period. Try a small slab of their kueh lapis and it was alright.

A nice place to get new year goodies. Every year they put out cookies made in the shape of the particular year. Love the pineapple tarts and honeycomb.
